From the initial fake splash screen (It used to say 'winners dont take drugs' on some arcade machines) and its a take off on that - nice touch The tutorial level is basically a take on 'Pang' which is a classic. Controls work well, glad to see a 'remove ads' button on the menu but that doesnt seem to work at the mo (havent seen an ad yet to be fair) Very polished, very good so far!!! It 'seems' each level is basically like Pang but with different graphics (which is fine), must admit at first i thought it was lots of different types of games But still very good, polished graphics, lots of nods to the old classics with the guy doing a russian style dance on the Tetris level A nice surprise. Frankly, I don’t mind the screen proportions (makes sense for a landscape shooter), but it would be much better if the game made any use of the additional real estate — for scores or controls. As it is, it feels like a cheap port. My main issue is the placement of the controls at the very bottom of the screen. It’s easy to block your character with your thumbs, and, worse of all, on an iPhone X, you ended up frequently doing an up-swipe and pausing the game. I can’t imagine that this got much testing on the X, which kind of blows my mind.
