It is basically just an excuse for us to do as many colorful, trippy things as we can using fluid simulation. It is currently on Pre-order on the AppStore, due to be launched in a couple weeks time. Your use of fluid sims gives the game a distinctive style that's very appealing. (I worked on a game called Child of Light that incorporated a fluid sim too, mainly to drive particles, and I dreamed of doing things like you've done here, but it wasn't possible due to time. So it's super cool to see you build a whole game around the effect!) Yeah, it's been a lot of fun. We really are riding that effect as far as we can. It's a good time for it now since all the iOS 11 compatible devices have Metal, and can handle this sort of thing. The main problem is that the plugin we were using for UI doesn't work in recent versions of Unity. So we'll need to completely redo all the UI if we want to update it. I'd like to think that one day we'll have enough free time to do it...
