So, in the meantime, I'll be trying out this game and feeling like I'm doing okay - just waiting to see other players come along with maxed out heroes showing me everything I'm actually missing out on, haha. It's likely not that you can't grasp it, but rather there's little actual game to grasp - and you're not willing to put in the thousands of hours or dollars to make it work. Unfortunately for me, 5-10 mins at a time spent on one game is considered a 'lengthy gaming session' for me, haha, so it is quite possible I'm just not spending enough time (or money) on these games to advance to where everyone else already seems to be. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's likely not that you can't grasp it, but rather there's little actual game to grasp - and you're not willing to put in the thousands of hours or dollars to make it work. It's generally grind/gatcha/luck/P2W/predatory F2P tactics.
