Feist is remarkably tense for a platformer. The world’s tension is heightened by the music: a quiet, forlorn ambience shrouding the woods of Feist in a supernatural melancholy. There are moments of startling beauty in Feist.” - PC Gamer “Feist looks phenomenal. The look, described as "a cinematic physical-effects style reminiscent of Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal, or Hedgehog in the Fog," is brilliant. Some of the best game art I've seen.” - Destructoid "Handmade like an Aston Martin, imagined as art, loved as a child. Feist almost never reveals itself as a game while you’re playing it, which is an absolute triumph today." – Clickindie "A fine magical tone to the world." – Rock Paper Shotgun Key Features: • A desperate and merciless fight for survival • A striking visual style • A rich and vivid world full of strange beasts • A dynamic gameplay. Great atmosphere, gameplay, and really good music! Controls are a bit too small though. More than likely going to buy the full game. Wonderful art style! Perhaps they can fix that? Because the game has potential. gmattergames Well-Known Member Mar 1, 2013 607 42 28 #6 gmattergames, Jun 1, 2018 Normally not in to platformers, but this game is so dynamic and engaging. The difficulty ramps up significantly mid-way, came close to rage-quitting a number of times, but due to the quality and satisfaction of overcoming the challenges, I have persisted. Edit: agree with comment on button size/position, far too close to edge of screen, often causing the iOS control panel tab to appear. ackmondual Well-Known Member Dec 25, 2009 301 2 18 U.S.A., earth #7 ackmondual, Jun 2, 2018 The game is free, but the rest of it (7 levels) is $4, so it's effectively a demo pricing model! Not too shabby! Gambler likes this. Gambler Well-Known Member Mar 10, 2014 546 110 43 Gazorpazorp #8 Gambler, Jun 3, 2018 I just started the game and don’t know if I’ll like it/buy the rest just yet but https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=24972 lists the average playthrough time at about 3 hours. Not extremely long but more than an hour and if it’s good I won’t mind paying the price for two tins Red Bull for 3 hours of a good time. It’s possible they also went this way because of the Android release at the same time. Premium games just get pirated way too much over there (around 90% iirc). I agree though - Love that we’re able to try the first level for free, wish more games would use this purchasing model. Hearing about this, I’m glad the game supports mfi controllers. sakara214ever Well-Known Member May 10, 2012 1,262 168 63 #9 sakara214ever, Jun 3, 2018 Oh that is different then!!! I 'll gladly buy it Thank you! Gambler Well-Known Member Mar 10, 2014 546 110 43 Gazorpazorp #10 Gambler, Jun 3, 2018 Bought it too - Chapter 4 atm and really enjoying it so far. Love that the game mixes up the platforming with fighting elements. MilknBrains Member Jun 1, 2018 5 0 1 Female #11 MilknBrains, Jun 4, 2018 This seems really, really cool. Definitely getting a Limbo vibe and love the sound of the soundtrack. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
