Learn more at AeonsEndDigital.com! After every game, your heroes make progress toward unlocking up to 15 new talents, building up their power for future games. There are 5 dangerous challenges to face: • Dragon’s Cave - The thick-skinned wyvern who occupies this dungeon prefers her heroes on the crispy side. • Yeti’s Cavern- If you can survive the freezing winds and biting cold, an abominable snowman awaits. • Hydra’s Reef - Chop off one head, and another appears! This regenerating venomous monstrosity is a slippery foe. • Lich’s Tomb - Hordes of undead foes, evil curses, and magical wards. What could possibly go wrong? • Minotaur’s Maze - Abandon all hope, ye who enter here! More content is available via In App Purchase: The Forest of Shadows expansion doubles the content in the game. It features adventures in all-new lush yet deadly locales. A vast network of mossy underground tunnels and connected forest areas await your heroes! • 5 new heroes - Alchemist, Druid, Hunter, Slayer, & Warden • 5 new dungeons - Lair of Indrax, The Mudlands, Realm of Venom, Smoldering Ruins, & The Vile Roots • A complete new 44-card encounter deck • Additional progression focuses, basic skills, potions, & more! The Abyssal Depths expansion adds a new kind of threat: Fiends who hound you throughout your entire quest to reach the boss. It includes 6 different Fiends, each with two levels of difficulty. Plus, 2 new aquatic heroes join the fight in the murky waters! Individual expansion cards: • Caliana - This faerie has decided that dungeoneering looks fun! Don't let her get bored... • Fanatic - A righteous Sentinel is here to smite evil wherever it may lurk! • Witch - Her chaotic magic hammer is ready to smash glooping oozes into glooping puddles! • Cinder Plains - The Hellhound awaits those reckless enough to venture here... • Phoenix's Den - Only the bravest heroes can handle the heat! Once you know your way around the dungeon, a game takes about 15 minutes. It might take a little longer if you're learning, or a lot shorter if you jump into a pit of spikes. Warning: do not jump into a pit of spikes. All cards in One Deck Dungeon have many colorful boxes. Roll your dice, and attempt to fill in as many boxes as possible. For every one you don't fill, you’ll suffer consequences in hearts and time! Once you complete an encounter you'll be able to learn a new skill, acquire a new item, or gain experience to level up your hero. Welcome to the world of One Deck Dungeon. Adventure awaits! Yep, it's iPad only but with good reason I think. The UI has a lot of information to convey and it would be a real problem to try and read all the feedback on a small screen. But, oh boy, does this game look and play great on the iPad. This is the real deal guys. You want to support premium games on iOS, well here is your chance. Yep, for a mobile game from an indie dev it is on the pricey side but the quality is here. Take a look at the YouTube videos. While they are of the Steam version you will get the same on your iPad. I know I'm sounding like a fanboy so I will stop. But this week has been a pretty good time for iOS gamers who appreciate paid indie games. Dungeon Maker, Sir Questionnaire and now this. It is MUCH easier to figure out that Sentinels of the Multiverse, which still has me confused. A few playthroughs and it started to make sense. I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time with this. Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,616 377 83 #7 Talbs, May 24, 2018 Runs well on iPhone 6+ on iOS 9.3.3. Need to be JB'd to do this though. (I do this on many iPad apps). Anyway, some text is a touch small, but it can generally be viewed larger by touch and hold or double click. I think I read that the dev may bring this to phone so there's hope. And from what I see, at least on a plus phone, it should be doable. Even passable if they just make those UI popup boxes a touch bigger if not resizing/re-arranging the main UI layer. https://imgur.com/a/4Y3Xih0 Danigarcia75 Well-Known Member Jan 30, 2015 93 0 6 #8 Danigarcia75, May 24, 2018 And an expansion for Ascension, at least for me. I mentioned that the UI was excellent as well as the whole presentation. I also mentioned that if you go watch YouTube videos of the Steam version you will get the exact idea of what the game is all about and that also relates to the iPad version as it is a direct port according to the devs. There is a rather long period to understand the game mechanics, even with the excellent Help game manual and the ingame tutorial....at least for me that is. Perhaps go to the Steam forum discussions/reviews and see what the general feeling is for the game and perhaps some specifics that you are interested in. I reiterate, the dev has specifically told me that the iOS version is an exact copy of the Steam port. What is commented on in the Steam forums will apply to this version. If I find any difference I will do my best to comment on it here. EDIT; Oh one thing I should mention as it is very relevant for a mobile game imho. The game saves the exact position you are in the game when you close it. Imagine if we could have done that too. Oh, One Deck Dungeon can easily be ported to the iPhone with success, GUI-wise. We have plenty of titles that demand more screen real estate and cram more information into a phone GUI. The iPad version has plenty of white space between panels, so simply compressing the unused areas would have gone a long way towards slimming down the UI for the iPhone. (And given that we can play card games like Pathfinder Adventures and Magic Duels on our phones, in many cases at least as information- and interaction-dense as One Deck Dungeon, not to mention a host of other tactical and strategic titles with similar demands on screen size, a phone port of this game is probably only a matter of time and/or finances, or developer misconceptions of what games work - GUI- or audience-wise - on iPhones.) downgrad3r Well-Known Member Jul 1, 2016 64 51 18 #16 downgrad3r, May 25, 2018 Last edited: May 30, 2018 Help (ie, iPhone X support) is on the way! So much easier to play, and much faster as well. It seems more complicated than it is. Takes a fight or two to figure out what’s going on. Yes, there’s dice and randomness. Version 1.0.1 is now up with fixes for the low memory issues affecting older iPad devices. It should run great on them now. We will be considering a phone version on the roadmap.
