The virtual stick has a very small detection box when you first put your finger down, and it's making it hard to quickly change directions. It could use some tweaking too. But, all in all, it seems playable. I'm thankful they still have the Save & Quit option, so we can suspend games when we need to. Anyone else pick it up? How are the controls feeling for you? shfrost Well-Known Member Apr 9, 2010 432 10 18 Artist Wooded area #3 shfrost, Mar 28, 2018 Does this have some sort of “coach mode?” I prefer managing the team, choosing batting and pitching options (including individual pitches and at-bats), without having to control runners and fielders. You know... coach mode. Dailon80 Well-Known Member Nov 10, 2014 3,574 66 48 Program Director/Radio DJ Eos #4 Dailon80, Mar 28, 2018 in time for Opening Day sweet! It would be nice to choose Franchise and then let the CPU control both teams so you can watch games I guess. However, MLB Manager 2018 should be here soon. Unfortunately, I dont expect MLB Manager to have RBI style graphics. curtisrshideler Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 30, 2011 3,097 25 48 Male Video Producer/Editor Texas http://twitter.com/curtneedsaride #8 curtisrshideler, Mar 28, 2018 I know, it surprised me that you have to go with the franchise or road to th show. You cant just play a season of ball without at least telling the AI to manage all the team stuff. I dont even know if you can shorten the franchise season in The Show. Might have to stick with last years on PS4 and RBI 18 on mobile. Ill wait for MLB 2018. And as much as I love beautiful graphics, thats the least of my concerns when looking for a baseball game or sim. I date back to the days of Earl Weaver Baseball and long for a game that offers what it did in its time. Thanks for the heads up. curtisrshideler Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 30, 2011 3,097 25 48 Male Video Producer/Editor Texas http://twitter.com/curtneedsaride #11 curtisrshideler, Mar 28, 2018 It's another decent year of arcade baseball, reminiscent of the classic NES game. But they've thrown in more trading and free agents, etc. in franchise mode. I'm only in my first game, but other than the controls that I've already mentioned, it has been fun. It does not have the home run mode on mobile even though that was advertised for the game. Unless I'm totally missing it, it's not there. So, you can play a single exhibition game, franchise mode, or post season. The game looks great and I left my save up to bat with the bases loaded. I look forward to getting back to it after work. pbb76 Well-Known Member Jun 22, 2009 140 0 16 #12 pbb76, Mar 31, 2018 Assume theres no mfi support? (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
