Hopefully Cartoon Network quelled some of the paywalls. L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #6 L.Lawliet, Mar 22, 2018 Okay, gave this a try and WOW, surprisingly good. High quality you can easily tell and it seems to have a lot of content. I also enjoy the upgrade and collecting system. Also completely playable offline. The only con so far from me is that it requires energy which will eat very very fast. Especially when undoubtedly the levels are going to start costing more than 5 energy. You only get 1+ to max energy every level up but honestly that's very little if you think about how fast each level plays out and the slowing rate of leveling up as you progress. Such a good game aside from that nasty stamina. Though the comment above me scares me a bit.. I guess I'll keep playing and see how it goes. But if you keep restocking materials, etc., you can get pretty far. Also, they do have gem sales occasionally and those sales are pretty good for catching up. HotHamBoy Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2015 204 4 16 #8 HotHamBoy, Mar 23, 2018 As soon as I saw the screens I recognized it as a reskin of Match Land. That game is *terrible.* Unless they completely rebalanced every aspect of it this will be one of those games you enjoy for about 45 minutes max. sugimulm Well-Known Member Aug 28, 2010 2,457 46 48 The last time zone for iOS game releases :( #9 sugimulm, Mar 23, 2018 And wait about 4 hours to play one or two stages Rangerlump Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2010 482 23 18 #10 Rangerlump, Mar 23, 2018 The energy mechanic needs to die Tinsel Well-Known Member Dec 8, 2008 508 5 18 #11 Tinsel, Mar 23, 2018 I really dont like the mechanic combo of both having to make matches super quickly and also having three types of movement. My swipes are often misinterpreted. Already kinda hitting a paywall and the core gameplay isnt the best matcher around thats for sure. The frequency of moves being misregistered finally made me delete it. L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #13 L.Lawliet, Mar 23, 2018 Actually I had problems with it but you can use tap to swap tiles and I've made moves much faster. No problem at all now. The issue occurred before because if you swipe too fast it has trouble registering the diagonal swipes. The tap swap removes that issue. bobochbob New Member Jun 2, 2017 3 0 0 #14 bobochbob, Mar 23, 2018 Still not available in EU nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #15 nyanpass, Mar 24, 2018 It is pleasant and funny. The developer also took care of the details. And it is good to reveal the probability of the IAP item. We believe in diagonals but agree they can cause frustration at this point. We will work hard to improve the gesture registration in an update coming soon. The pace does really slow down around maybe 3 hours (didn't keep track) in at level 30. I haven't seen any paywall, but it might be a tad slow in turns of how many new missions you'll get through a day given that a lot of your energy will go to grabbing tokens to level your heroes and mats to level your shops. One thing that is somewhat unusual for this type of game is that when you fail a level, energy is consumed and you get partial rewards. I don't like that, as it forces you to play more cautiously and grind more for fear of wasting energy. Given that progress feels a tad slow, I recommend they do away with partial rewards and energy consumption for failed (0 star) levels, allowing you to freely retry difficult levels.. There is also some wonkyness with the timer that feels a bit off. It seems like a move that doesn't make a match takes a huge chunk of the timer (usually just ends it) so that a mis-move is brutally punished. Given how easy it is to mis-move, I recommend reworking this. Either don't allow moves that don't make matches at all, or allow only one such move, doing away with the penalty. You can get used to moving, but this feature makes the learning curve more unpleasant than it needs to be. Worth a try, with the tip noted above about tapping to swap rather than sliding. Agree that sliding leads to many incorrect moves. (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Password: Forgot your password?
