Cause deaths and harvest souls while abiding by the Free Will Clause. --- Background Story --- You Died. Pure and simple, but death was not the end. You have become an agent of Death: a Reaper. You have the powers of Death, but there are rules in this supernatural afterlife. The Reaper ends lives, but it cannot control humans directly due to the Free Will Clause. As the Reaper, you must plan and execute your killings by using the environment to your advantage. In the meantime, be wary of Minions of Light, who will try to save humans from their grim fate! --- Key Features --- ● Isometric ‘God’ Perspective View your hunting grounds from a top-down perspective. Follow the lives of your targets and those out to stop you. ● Non-linear Design Start with any character you want, and solve the puzzles in any order you like within the limits of the Death Traps and weather conditions. ● Observe, Plan, Execute Observe the victims to find out their behavior and idiosyncracies. Trigger death traps at the right moment to kill efficiently. The better you know their routines, the better you can prepare your death traps. ● Reactive AII Victims will hang around spots they like and will change their actions and behavior when something happens to them, such as seeing someone die. ● A Morbid Sense of Humor From suburbia to missile factories, there’s always a wacky way to wreak havoc. Don’t be afraid to laugh at someone’s demise. If you do what you love (in this case, harvesting souls), you'll never have to work a day in your life! ---Contact--- Mali:[email protected] Web:http://www.thenextstudio.net/deathcoming/index.shtml Supported devices: iPhone 5 and above Devices running iOS 8.0 or above will enjoy an enhanced experience. I've tried force restarting the game. I went to settings and have had no luck. Try delete and reinstall, that may help. y2kmp3 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 1,784 3 38 #11 y2kmp3, Mar 15, 2018 Interesting (albeit macabre) game premise... Some questions about the game mechanics immediately come to mind: To score "perfect" for the level, do you need to dispatch every single target available with no margin of error? Are there targets in whom there is ONLY a single way to trap? If so, this means you need to play each level at least twice to spot these special targets and to trap them first so that the required traps would not be wasted on another target who can be dispatched elsewhere? There appears to be no way to recover if you initially miss setting off a trap on multiple targets for simultaneous capture. It seems that there may be no way to round up any survivor in some (not but all) cases. Are there any time sensitive trap so that there is only a single opportunity to set it off? In most cases, I see that targets move with a cycle so that you can always wait it out if you miss an earlier opportunity. This feels a bit like party hard. It is very puzzly in the sense that you will have to play each level two or three times to get the perfect score, since some traps don't show what they will do (unlike coconuts or billboards that give a red shadow of where they will fall). I am on act 3 and the only fiddly thing (apart from not knowing what some traps will do) is the angel police, just because sometimes i forget something slected half a map away and they happen to go there. Oops. But as a whole i am loving the game, lots of variability and macabre fun hehehe Threepwood Member Nov 15, 2014 14 0 0 #14 Threepwood, Mar 15, 2018 Awesome game and a premium one on top! (maybe that's an oxymoron) Essentially a charming little trial & error experience without any timers or stress. You just take the time to explore and figure out puzzles, thumbs up! Minor "bugs" - Game crashes when I loose the last heart to the angels. - Sometimes the angels will catch your shenanigans when you have absolutly no chance of avoiding it. Like when you activate the heart in level 3. from one end of the map and the angels see the heart moving at a completly different location. - Would be great to see the intro in case you missed it without having to delete your progress and start over. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #15 syntheticvoid, Mar 15, 2018 Haha! Я влюбился!!!!! So great!! Hehe... Thank you for bringing this to the AppStore!! I'm actually kind of surprised I haven't seen a game like this before... Great puzzling. Great premise. Great graphics and animation... I have a feeling this will be a top contender for my personal 2018 top GOTY... !!!!! Wooooo!!!! Let's drop some air conditioners! =D Quoad Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 1,108 217 63 #16 Quoad, Mar 15, 2018 Errr, going by my limited gameplay so far, a 'perfect' would not only involve dispatching every single target, but dispatching them in one contiguous combo. I doubt that's achievable, on all levels. There are certainly finite single-use means of trapping many individuals; which (I believe) encompasses your focus on 'one'. And yes. It makes sense to replay levels. On my second shot, I got to tenth on the global leaderboard for L1, because I had puzzled out how to trigger combos. Some traps are also somewhat narrative, and may not have obvious results until triggered. So, yeah. Irrespective of whether or not there are single-trap targets, there are traps that you can learn about, and deaths that you can learn about, and sequences that you can identify. So replaying levels for better (and frankly more enjoyable) scores makes sense. Yeah. From initial play, perfect scores look really hard to get. IDK. If you linger on a level for chuffing ages, you might find more effective means of dispatching them all. I suspect that would be highly complex and highly difficult, though. Erm. Early impressions are that there are some time-limited opportunities. e.g., I get the impression that the direction at the start of L2 to begin with the locker room makes good sense, bc (despite spending quite a bit of time on the level) no second train appears to arrive, meaning that the traps in there may be best utilised when the first train arrives. Quoad Well-Known Member Apr 17, 2015 1,108 217 63 #17 Quoad, Mar 15, 2018 Liking this game a lot. My sole grievance (if such it is) is that levels take a really long time to work through. I've found chiseling up to a bronze / silver to be a pretty weighty endurance test. I suspect that winning a gold would require more patience than I usually have. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #18 syntheticvoid, Mar 15, 2018 Replay value out the yin-yang, yo. =P Hehehehehehe Ag3ntP3ndergast Well-Known Member Nov 5, 2016 82 4 8 #19 Ag3ntP3ndergast, Mar 15, 2018 Whats the actual gameplay like? I have a question for anyone who can help me out: whats the actual gameplay like? Is this a puzzler type game or an action game? From what I can gather it seems like this is a puzzle game where you tap on things to try to get the pixel ppl to die... is that a fair assessment of the game play? I want to make sure this isnt an action shooter game before I buy.... I dont have the reflexes required to win at action games. Thanks a bunch in advance to whoever can answer my question. syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #20 syntheticvoid, Mar 15, 2018 Yeah you go it. It's not a shooter, more of a puzzler. Action puzzler? I don't know if this would qualify as an action puzzler, but you tap on objects to try and bring as many people to an end as possible while also having 'main targets' to dispatch throughout the level.
