Every round you beat the enemies, you will know if you quit now, how good the chest you will get, don’t be greedy since you lost all chests you will get if you die, so if you are weak after a battle, it is best to leave and get chests. If you get the equipments that good for your class, use them, otherwise just sell them to the merchant. The money is for purchasing equipments, resetting merchant’s equipment you can buy and using potions in the dungeons, YES you need to spend money to use the potions, so if you want to beat bosses, it is better to save lots of money. If you know when to quit and leave dungeons, you will get some experience points, once you leveled up, you can use the point to unlock new cards, the deck is limited to 20 cards, so you should choose the right cards carefully, it seems that you can combine other class' card to build the deck, which is great. The last thing, you should try to farm all the best equipments in the level before you going to beat the boss, otherwise it will be really tough. BTW the game is good enough for 3 bucks, so if you are on the fence, just purchase it. I really wish there was a basic attack card. The most basic is "headbutt" which does damage to your character. I love games like roguelike/lites in which it's difficult to progress. But when I feel like I'm fighting the mechanics of a game, I lose interest. I think the core gameplay is fun, though. Also a little worried about the longevity, but the dev says they're adding more stuff. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #14 vectorarchitekt, Mar 14, 2018 I started with the warrior and got annoyed that it was so hard but once I started exiting with loot after 1-2 rounds to build up I got into the swing of it. Im curious to see what cards I can unlock later on. One endless dungeon would be cool for longevity purposes, but hopefully the game does well and they add more to it. Don’t expect you can clear the dungeon without having good equipments. Enter dungeon, kill monsters, loot treasure chests, and return to town to open the chests before get killed. Simply repeat this until you get good equipments(rarity above gold). And it’s very important to have potions in your deck. It is forced player to think about “Should I use it right now to survive?”, rather than just spamming the potion cards. Also the more hp you get, the more money you cost, it is one of the factors you should think about, when you try to build a deck. 2. Actually it is forced you to find better gear, if your base defense points are 3 or higher, you will not get any damage to yourself, that is why you should not go too deep in the beginning, because you equipments are bad, so try to farm some better equipments first. 2-1. if you really want some basic attack card, the “Quick attack” seems the most similar one, low cost with low attack. solistus Member May 24, 2012 18 1 3 #17 solistus, Mar 19, 2018 Anyone got any tips for Warrior? I can pretty consistently reach the boss of the first dungeon but I cant come close to beating it. I havent seen a gear upgrade in ages so I think I have the best gear available at my level. Im mostly using attacks from the top row of the warrior tree. Can someone whos beaten it post the decklist and gear they used, and/or offer any strategy tips? StratAll Well-Known Member Dec 24, 2009 160 17 18 #18 StratAll, Mar 20, 2018 I managed it once with a warrior. Go in without running poison damage and with sufficient energy. I reduced head butt cards and used counter moves (attack + 3 shield increase) + a lucky blade twister which got rid of 80% of the side spiders in the first move, but you should get lucky with the venom moves. If they poison you at a rate of 5 per turn and you dont have antidote ready, you stand no chance. Also, the theme of the next world for a warrior is shields so set aside gear that maximises that. Good luck! (Great game btw!) dbagga84 Well-Known Member May 22, 2013 835 24 18 #19 dbagga84, Mar 20, 2018 Is this game pretty short?
