Single player gamers here. Hate online multiplayer. Always wanted to try something similar to Rocket League, though. Never play Rocket League. Unfortunately, will have to give this game a pass Destruction Crew Member Aug 8, 2016 11 1 0 #5 Destruction Crew, Feb 15, 2018 Thanks for your comments, just that you know the game can be played online as well as offline. In offline mode you can setup custom matches without any online connection to be required. adamphetamine Well-Known Member Jan 4, 2011 968 31 28 Programmer/3D Modeling Bethlehem, Pa #6 adamphetamine, Feb 15, 2018 It's actually a pretty fun game, playa great online and off. Who cares if it's like Rocket League? Most games are offshoots of other games and there is nothing wrong with that. It's not like they are trying to say that this is Rocket League or anything, it's just a similar game and a good one at that. squirpe Well-Known Member Oct 15, 2008 163 1 18 Software Developer Honolulu, HI #7 squirpe, Feb 15, 2018 Last edited: Feb 15, 2018 I think it's pretty enjoyable too Edit: the control layout isn't ideal on iPad (works better on iPhone). Im usuallly a single player player so Ill probably give my feedback later based on that aspect. I got my soft music on. Mood lighting is on. My iPhone is fully charged. Let get to it. You might want to add that bit of info to the game description on the App Store. Its a crucial info that should not be forsaken. More single player gamers, like myself, would not have second guess downloading it. I dont care if its inspired or a clone of Rocket League. If its fun, Im sure to download it. Plus, Ive never played Rocket League. This game would fill the void for me TheGodless Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2013 207 2 18 #10 TheGodless, Feb 16, 2018 I fully agree. Even if a multiplayer game looks good, I will often not purchase or download if it doesnt have a single player offline campaign. All too often multiplayer games wind up being unplayable due to either a lack of gamers, server issues, Internet issues, or due the dev no longer supporting multiplayer. With an offline campaign, you pretty much guarantee a working game for as long as its compatible with the iOS and latest phones. Destruction Crew Member Aug 8, 2016 11 1 0 #11 Destruction Crew, Feb 16, 2018 Thanks all great and valuable feedback. Out of interest, once you download a single player game (with multi-player optional), do you then give the multi-player a try, or is this simply not interesting to you? Thanks again! Finally now me as a Apple fan boy kan play it. Does anyone of you have played Android vs. iOS yet? Cheers, Destruction Crew Member Aug 8, 2016 11 1 0 #13 Destruction Crew, Feb 20, 2018 Thanks for your post! Just to confirm that Rocket Soccer Derby support multiplayer cross play between iOS and Android, so yes you'll be able to play against your friends regardless of their device. TheGodless Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2013 207 2 18 #14 TheGodless, Feb 26, 2018 I usually don’t even try multiplayer games unless they are the passive kind were you play a ghost or compete against other people’s gameplay or scores. Live multiplayer games have always seemed like way too much trouble. From dealing with cheaters to dealing with rude people to lagging out due to connection and/or server issues to the lack of players early on and after the game has been out for a while to there rarely being enough players for indie games to begin with to there almost always being an expiration date (that usually comes much sooner for indie games) for multiplayer games, there are just way too many factors that turn me off from even bothering to try most multiplayer games.
