Thank you so much this looks so fun!! Gotters Well-Known Member Oct 27, 2016 114 31 28 #3 Gotters, Feb 1, 2018 On the plus side this plays a nice game of mini golf, nice clean graphics and on the few holes Ive seen some inventive touches On the downside I played the first 5 holes and hit a timer, then played 5 more and hit an 8h timer - way to kill my new game buzz - that seems some aggressive monetisation, have people learnt nothing from the supercell, or even golf clash, a hard wall like that just kills any positive vibes I have towards the game orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #4 orangecan, Feb 1, 2018 Yep. I was really looking forward to this but Ive slready deleted it. Seriously to be hit with a 3 hour timer after 5 holes which took less than ten minutes to play Is just taking the proverbial. Shame because as you say the actual mechanics are pretty good. Gotters Well-Known Member Oct 27, 2016 114 31 28 #5 Gotters, Feb 1, 2018 Last edited: Feb 1, 2018 Played a bit more, where it let me, and its not good The ‘free’ chests it offers you need an ad watch to unlock, and the camera is a mess, meaning you often can’t see the hole when teeing off or the fact the levels have layers. Its pretty ropey - there is a game in there but in its current state, with the most aggressive timers I’ve seen in a while, its an avoid. qwiboo Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2009 863 5 18 London http://www.qwiboo.com #6 qwiboo, Feb 1, 2018 Thanks everyone for checking out the game, I really appreciate your time and feedback! The timer may seem bit harsh but they tie together into other stuff in the game. Once you hit the timer, you can either use gems or watch ads to just skip it, or you can focus on other stuff in the game in the meantime. There is a tournament going on that you can play without any timers, there are new fresh levels from other players showing up and you actually get rewarded for playing them with gems! There is a motivation to 3-star every level as that unlocks more chests. And last but not least you can start messing around with the editor and see if you can come up with some cool levels. So yeah, if you just want to skim through a lots of levels fast this game is probably not for you, but if you want to be getting regular dose of new levels for months to come then this should fit you perfectly. You can play offline, but you have to connect to the internet time to time to download new levels from the server. Once downloaded you can play offline as much as you want Grist Well-Known Member Nov 7, 2008 362 25 28 VP of Marketing Massachusetts #7 Grist, Feb 1, 2018 To the developer: Can you provide a way to scan the entire area of each hole? The omission of this feature is why I deleted your game quickly this morning. qwiboo Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2009 863 5 18 London http://www.qwiboo.com #8 qwiboo, Feb 1, 2018 Yes, I'm working on it! Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll also add pointer showing you in which direction is the final hole. stripesfollower New Member Jul 30, 2015 3 0 0 #9 stripesfollower, Feb 1, 2018 I love the game so far but will not deal with timers. Are you considering an IAP that would remove the energy system? $10? $15? The current system is horribly alienating, especially after games like Vista Golf, Golfinity, OK Golf, Wonderputt, and Flick Golf. The premium market for mini golf games is here, and were hungry. qwiboo Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2009 863 5 18 London http://www.qwiboo.com #10 qwiboo, Feb 1, 2018 I'm definitely open to options and the game will evolve based on how are players playing. You can't really compare those games to Magic Golf tho, as they have handful of levels and play them over and over. In Magic Golf you keep getting brand new fresh levels infinitely and thats one of the reasons why there is a timer. I'll be tweaking the game economics base on the data that I'm finally getting now. No testing can compare to thousands of real players PorterJ Member Feb 2, 2018 15 0 0 #11 PorterJ, Feb 2, 2018 Holy moly! I love the cute bunny sounds! Gotters Well-Known Member Oct 27, 2016 114 31 28 #13 Gotters, Feb 2, 2018 yup I've deleted it too - it just seems plain grasping. doesn't matter how many 1000s of levels you've got if they're sat behind an 8h timer I'll keep an eye on this thread and if the economics improve, and you can preview a whole hole, I'll give it another go. for what its worth too I'm not one of these everybody should be free types - I've spent lots on Clash Royale and am quite happy to throw a few quid to any game that catches my attention - my concern here is I'd spend a fiver and be able to unlock just a few new levels til the next timer kicks in. qwiboo Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2009 863 5 18 London http://www.qwiboo.com #14 qwiboo, Feb 3, 2018 Thank you so much! The most interesting change for some of you may be that we reduced the waiting time for the chest open, which also reduces gems and number of ads needed to unlock the chest if you want to do it faster. Here is the full list: Use new flower to decorate your levels! You can now listen to your own music while playing. You can now skip levels that are too hard to finish. Shared courses now have share button that lets you share them directly with friends. Camera now rotates around the bunny correctly. Chest timers reduced so it takes less time for the chest to open. stripesfollower New Member Jul 30, 2015 3 0 0 #16 stripesfollower, Feb 13, 2018 Last edited: Feb 15, 2018 You can compare those games to Magic Golf. Vista Golf has three new courses every week [18 holes each] and an endless mode. The game is free and has no timers. Redos are unlocked by watching ads. Golfinity is endless. The game is free and supported by ads. OK Golf is $2.99 and regularly updated with new courses. I've played 100 levels of Magic Golf so far and I'm still loving the game. The outfits, the level design, and the feel of the gameplay are all lovely. But the timers - after receiving some player data, are you considering an IAP that would remove them?
