Lovecraft comes the first adventure in the Evilibrium Universe. The game invites you to an alternate reality at the end of the 19th century, full of adventure, mystics, horrific creatures, dark rituals, and secret cults. In this world, souls are real and sufficient material to be extracted and used as a source of energy. Souls are therefore a hard-to-get and expensive merchandise that many desire. Strange hostile creatures from parallel worlds lurk in murky forests and deep dungeons. You play a member of the Brotherhood of Hunters, adventurous people who hunt these monsters and catch their souls. You will explore the dungeons of a large world, capture hundreds of souls and use them to create, upgrade, and evolve an army of your own, fight quick, furious battles, discover the mysteries of the Universe and try to stay alive. Evilibrium: Soul Hunters is a unique mix of a rogue-like dungeon crawler and a storytelling quest. The twisting plot is told through numerous quests where your actions matter. KEY FEATURES - Dozens of souls to catch and evolve + over 20 bosses to beat! - Short and dynamic fights. Plan your tactics to defeat the foes! - Exciting quests. And can't live without turn based combat, which I think this is? I'm intrigued and will be watching this thread and potentially taking the plunge. Edit: Saw the alpha gameplay and not sure of the combat mechanic. Seems like you set up your skills and then let combat role and click your skills as you need while the combat roles on. Kind of like a final fantasy cool down like combat L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #11 L.Lawliet, Jan 25, 2018 It looks interesting but the battles look disappointing unfortunately. I thought it might be a turn based thing like DD but it looks like you just keep tapping abilities as fast as you can and defeat the enemy before they out-damage you. You guys should check the linked video since so many people are asking how it plays. It's clunky in spots, but overall well done. If there was a Darkest Dungeon "Blitz", it might play something like this. Definitely less punishing than DD, however my entire group was whipped just a half dozen quests after the tutorial, so not exactly easy, either. It feels like was built to be completely ftp, and likely will be sooner than later. lilneo Well-Known Member Feb 28, 2012 396 9 18 Work in State Government México https://twitter.com/LOVECRAFT_VG #16 lilneo, Jan 25, 2018 Anyone know if the game support Spanish language? eugenemcardle Well-Known Member May 21, 2013 357 9 18 Retired, Math/Science Teacher, Air Force Electron Redcliffe Queensland Australia #17 eugenemcardle, Jan 25, 2018 Looks like English and maybe Russian? Eastern European otherwise. IOSgamer1980 Well-Known Member Nov 6, 2015 432 2 18 #18 IOSgamer1980, Jan 25, 2018 This game needs a better translation. It's pretty terrible. There are grammar and spelling errors, and just clunky language on a constant basis. I understand money's tight, but English translations really should get a better shake than this. That said, the game's an engaging and unique noir-horror mashup of various games mentioned earlier in the thread that are all great standalone games. I actually like the auto battle system. It's kind of the difference between Forza and Motorsport Manager for me, the latter of which I enjoy more. Is there any credibility to the suspicion that this will go F2P at some point? It's definitely got the potential designed into the game's systems for that kind of format. I assumed they started developing that way and shifted gears to premium.
