L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #7 L.Lawliet, Jan 25, 2018 It's kind of like an idle game but not a clicker. You send you warrior out on quests and they come back after a certain amount of time. Meanwhile you build stuff at the store, work on your craft, take customer orders, etc. There's also some timing mini games for making equipment. Then after that you can send your warrior to tournaments. There's always stuff to do. I'm actually quite enjoying it so far. English does have some issues but it doesn't really hinder the game for me. Dev, I noticed a bug that the diary dates are all the same. I'm sure that not intentional since as it is now there's no way to tell which diary item is which since they all look alike. nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #8 nyanpass, Jan 25, 2018 Although the tutorial contains bugs, the process itself is novel. Conversation between the characters is fun. And there is a phenomenon that ends abruptly during its course. Future updates and modifications are expected to increase completeness. Let's enjoy some more! For instance she will say "I can't believe I, Goblin, lost to a Swordstress" in her battle notes. I've seen some different scenes do the same swapping names as well. Edit: Also what I said about the diary earlier was wrong. Apparently it's working as intended. The diary uses the real day so if you have multiple events in one day it'll just show the same date on all of them. I think this game reminds me of adventure bar? nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #13 nyanpass, Jan 26, 2018 It is probably a different game from that. It has no IAP. It's a full game. There are bugs in the early days of its release, but there wasn't much inconvenience in the process. It is likely to be updated and supplemented by further updates. lucia han Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 255 6 18 Artist (Army Wars Defense, Infect Them All, The lo #14 lucia han, Jan 26, 2018 There is no iap. The core idle monster hunting component doesn't seem to be fully/consistently working yet, in my experience. I'm doing some testing, but I've only had the swordstress actually continue hunting while I was out of the app once. I think it's dependent on whether the app gets closed in the background, but I'm not entirely sure yet. Anyways, it's nice to have a fun little semi-idle game that isn't trying to annoy me into spending more money. Other feedback: It feels like the Blacksmith/Swordstress relationship is a little poorly balanced. I'm essentially always either at max relationship status or within 1-2 points of max. It seems too easy to keep it maxed out, so there's no point in buying/making gifts for her because sooner or later I can just write her a letter for 5-10 relationship points. This might change as my maximum rank increases. Most of the actual blacksmith/shop aspects have similar issues. Assuming I'm trying to maximize gold, then there's pretty much no point in interacting with customers at all. It's way more efficient to just make items with the materials collected by the Swordstress and sell them to the Merchant. Customers either want repairs (200-500 gold), display items in the shop (500-4000 gold), or they request items that I could just as easily make and sell to the Merchant (and it doesn't seem like they pay a premium for the items, but I could be wrong there). Regardless, my swordstress (who is now at the Monastery/Forgotten City areas), usually comes back with over 10k gold from her trips, which means she brings in far more money than my shop anyways. To be clear, I'm definitely enjoying the game and am curious to see where the little bits of story we're getting eventually go. Witlogic Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 54 7 8 #17 Witlogic, Jan 26, 2018 Serious balance problems I'm also enjoying the game, but having a lot of problems progressing because the materials you need to advance your equipment are random drops. The drop rates don't seem to be balanced well because after playing for a day, I'm pretty much maxed out on everything but can't progress any further waiting on materials. I think there needs to be a way to target specific drops more reliably. fring Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 26, 2017 52 3 8 USA #18 fring, Jan 26, 2018 One relatively minor issue that's definitely messing with things is that the final boss in the Monastery is clearly supposed to be a Lich, but it's Cereberus instead. I don't know how powerful the Lich is supposed to be, but Cereberus is a lot more powerful (I'm preparing to fight the last boss in the Forgotten City, which is two areas later, and he's still nowhere near as powerful as Cereberus). More importantly, Cereberus drops aren't useful at this level and there's all sorts of recipes gated by Lich items that I won't be able to get until I make it to the Frosted Lands, which (hopefully) has more Liches. I do agree with WitLogic that trying to pull necessary drops is a bit of an exercise in frustration (I would pay so much gold for some Solid Bones), but I don't consider it as much of a bad thing, since it's pretty par for the course for an idle game. At the same time, it would be nice to do something like send the swordstress out with a specific monster target for double the normal adventuring time, or something like that. L.Lawliet Well-Known Member Jun 28, 2011 6,405 420 83 #19 L.Lawliet, Jan 27, 2018 I agree with most of the points here and that doesn't make the game bad at all. This is actually probably my favorite Magic Cube game to date. I really think if they polished it up or added more work into a sequel (even charge more for it if it's a bigger game), that would be wonderful. I do think progression seems a bit too fast. If I don't play overnight, an area will unlock by itself since the heroine is hunting over night. Then her bond points are always near max so bonding with her is not that difficult. So maybe add in more of a challenge? Also increase the selling rewards inside your shop since one mission from the heroine makes like x5-x10 what you make at the shop. razorXo New Member Jan 27, 2018 1 0 0 #20 razorXo, Jan 27, 2018 Last edited: Jan 27, 2018 Why isn't this game showbink up in THE App store on my iPhone with ios 11 ?
