A good platformer. I seem to keep pressing punch instead of swiping for jump bit Ive played a few levels. Love the new pre-orders. Played a little and it’s very smooth. Controls take a little getting used to but are great. Can anyone explain how the levels work? I never know what level I’m on or how many of the “things” I have Left to collect. Gotters Well-Known Member Oct 27, 2016 114 31 28 #4 Gotters, Jan 24, 2018 I was a bit bored and wanted something new to play so gave this a shot, initial reactions are its a bit confusing what I'm meant to be doing, where I'm meant to be going and there is just too much going on for touch controls. Stick this on the Switch and it would play quite nicely, touch screen just doesn't lend itself to this kind of platformer though as implemented. psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,971 722 113 England #5 psj3809, Jan 24, 2018 Think it works fine on mobile, got tons of platformers on iOS. Just a bit confusing where to go or do, i may restart and try again. Some of the screens do have minute text though, i went into one 'cave' and there was a lot of writing (white) which was on a light brown background so i could hardly read it. The last Super Fancy Pants game before this was huge and i really enjoyed so i think i just need another go on this later bigrand1 Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2010 4,968 7 38 Geriatric Party Animal California, USA #6 bigrand1, Jan 24, 2018 Android version? nyanpass Well-Known Member Dec 30, 2017 3,374 1,043 113 #7 nyanpass, Jan 24, 2018 I feel a little dizzy playing. It's really unforgiving and I end up trying the same stage over and over. The good thing is that the controls are tight and when you make a mistake, it's typically your own fault...it's just really challenging. Left thumb moves the guy left right. On the right side there are two sets up up/down arrows. The set on the left controls your slashing to kill enemies and the set on the right is for jumping/crouching. I just never know what to do or where to go....wonder around aimlessly. The doors you find throughout the levels seem like mini stages where you usually find a different colored pair of pants or hat. jpgold Well-Known Member Sep 21, 2012 1,818 56 48 Online Ad Sales - Pandora New York, NY #13 jpgold, Jan 26, 2018 OK....stuck with it and now really enjoying. Once you get towards the end of the first world/level things start to make sense. You can spend those little shell things on upgrades and new moves. I waa Spending too much time going into doors (bonus level) and getting frustrated (unless there is something I dont know, there is not real value to getting more hats/pants other then to find collectibles). Just got past the first boss and the game is opening up/growing on me. jpgold Well-Known Member Sep 21, 2012 1,818 56 48 Online Ad Sales - Pandora New York, NY #14 jpgold, Jan 27, 2018 Last edited: Jan 27, 2018 Map! When watching others play, I can never tell if they think they need to beat a challenge, or they're as hardheaded as I am and won't quit until they beat everything. I think it's the best way to keep the highest level of challenge optional and give players something to come back to once they're better at the game, but I might need to be a bit more clear on the messaging there... jpgold Well-Known Member Sep 21, 2012 1,818 56 48 Online Ad Sales - Pandora New York, NY #16 jpgold, Jan 30, 2018 Thanks for making this! I encourage everyone to hang in there as once you figure out whats going on, it gets awesome. A little more insight at the beginning of the game would definitely be helpful. Can you tell me how many "worlds" there are? I'm on Volcano and curious how much I have left. Now that I've gotten a little better, I've been going back and trying to find doors that I gave up on.
