After the success of M.U.D. Rally (a new update with a graphic upgrade is coming), i decided to develop a new racing game. Development took almost 1 year, and I put a big effort. While I know an indy racing game can't probably compete with huge companies' games under several points of view, I am sure Final Drift Project will compete with them under one specific point of view: fun-factor. This game is suitable for both casual players and arcade racing lovers. There are 81 challenges available, that will require more skills going further in the game. I hope to read comments and ideas for possible updates here, thank you to everyone who will download it! bigrand1 Well-Known Member Apr 23, 2010 4,968 7 38 Geriatric Party Animal California, USA #2 bigrand1, Jan 17, 2018 Im gonna have to give this one a try! Cvigames! In response to comments made in “Upcoming Games” section...Yes, that is correct. Barbour is where I was seeing the FPS issue however, once past this part of the game my FPS was consistent at 52-55 FPS. Runs pretty well once past the Harbour levels. The game is incredible guys....tons of enjoyment! I am certain you guys will maintain an update this game regularly as you have done with your other racing games, it’s sure to be a must have for drifting and racing fans! P.S. thank you for the little surprise in my inbox!!! CviGames Well-Known Member Jun 14, 2016 309 158 43 Italy #5 CviGames, Jan 18, 2018 Thank you very much Tygart! Here's a promocode for a 10 King Pack for you too =) 49NJ4MJ34P6P Sorry to hear you are experiencing some frame rate drop in "The Harbour", in the next release we will allow players to chose a lower graphics level, in order to maintain stable framerate even on older devices. We worked really hard to deliver something funny and I'm happy to read in your comments that we succeded in it. As for M.U.D. Rally, Final Drift Project will keep growing and improving, we are already developing more locations and challenges and a really fun multiplayer mode. Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #6 Stronsay, Jan 18, 2018 Quite a change from M.U.D Rally where Im well used to the car and track handling by now. This is a different kettle of fish. Ive started with the Mini. The handling is a lot of fun but its challenging to put a lap together within the time; so I can see much practice will be required. Frame rate is fine around the harbour with iPad Air 2. CviGames Well-Known Member Jun 14, 2016 309 158 43 Italy #7 CviGames, Jan 18, 2018 Thank you for your feed, Stronsay This game indeed has a completely different approach compaired to M.U.D. Rally, as it is a pure arcader. Here's a promocode for you, LLNNYAAKWJE4 Little OT for Stronsay BTW, I remember you followed the development of M.U.D. Rally since the very first beta... did you see the latest v 1.3.0 with metal support? Stronsay Well-Known Member Aug 6, 2015 987 230 43 #8 Stronsay, Jan 18, 2018 Yes, I have the latest update for M.U.D. Rally and it looks great on iPad. It was interesting to follow the development and see the considerable upgrades since the original beta. I now have to remember to drive sensibly again when switching back from Final Drift. Thanks very much for the promo code and I shall keep practicing the doughnuts! CviGames Well-Known Member Jun 14, 2016 309 158 43 Italy #9 CviGames, Jan 18, 2018 Oh yes! Those donuts are the part that gave me headaches in dev phase I made several people test the game and a bunch of them could not complete a single donut, this got me worried about wether player would be able to get through them in game. I hope the tutorial makes it clear how they work, anyway Nevermind about the promocode, I'm happy to give them away to TouchArcade readers because this forum helps me a lot with my development work (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
