In the description it says, PatchWord is free to play, but you can purchase In-app items to remove some or all ads, but I see no button or menu item for that. To remove ads, click Store from the main menu, then click the text for what you want to remove. You can remove all ads, just the banner ads, or just the pop-up ads. Sorry it is confusing, the next update due the end of January will put highlighters over them to make them look more like buttons. That update will also include a new game mode & possibly a global leaderboard. In the meantime, if you are interested, there is a facebook group called PatchWord Game where people can share challenges for other players to beat. Make sure to challenge your friends & family! It really feels like an achievement when it happens, especially in the turn based mode (current known record on turn based is 26 boards). We even have one player that tries to get every letter on a board to be gold (by using it in a 7+ letter word) before clearing the board. From the options menu in settings from the main menu or from the options menu in-game there is a Game Size slider that will let you decrease the scaling of the game window. The game will save this setting locally. We are hoping to have this released soon but if you are interested we can set you up as a tester so you can check it out on your device. This new version will also have achievements & a global leaderboard (requires facebook login but we don't collect or access any data, we just link a unique id to your facebook id). If this interests you please respond & I will send you a Test Flight invitation to the email account that you used to send us the screenshots previously. As well as introducing global leaderboards there is the ability, in the options menu, to scale the screen image so that parts of some buttons etc are no longer off the screen.
