This is from the makers of Arcane Ledends and Pocket Legends from back in the day.. Let’s hope it is as great as those games were. Lots of MMOs have done it right back then. Crossing fingers. This looks good btw, so i'll be downloading as soon as i can. hedgey Well-Known Member Apr 20, 2012 99 6 8 #4 hedgey, Nov 30, 2017 Just the other night, I was thinking about how there needs to be a better MMO for mobile. I thought of how Spacetime's other games were maybe not full on MMO's, but they were fun. I have to say that this doesn't seem like what I was looking for. Downloaded and played a while. It feels like how all the recent MMO's have been going in the direction of being "mobile" just means "simplified game play". What I mean is that in this game your character runs a gauntlet type dungeon killing mobs trying to finish as fast as you can. You simply just drag your toon, auto attack, and hit specials when the cool downs are up. Yes, it is VERY mobile friendly, but too simple of a game for what I'm looking for. It is a very well made game. Lots of people will love it, and they should. It's just not what I am looking for. I'm not a big fan of this "auto MMO" trend that is happening (Lineage II...). Spacetime makes great games. Give this one a try. It's not for me, but it's surely not a bad game. Wish they wouldn't have given up on it... yankeeblue000 Well-Known Member Aug 29, 2016 644 36 28 #6 yankeeblue000, Nov 30, 2017 Try DOFUS Touch it's pretty good. It has cross-platform multiplayer too Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,616 377 83 #7 Talbs, Nov 30, 2017 I remember playing pocket legends for a long while. But after that it became stale. It was just running gauntlets over and over to defeat mobs in the hope of getting a pink drop. Not expecting much more from this. For me space legends went down hill because they really didn't innovate beyond the pocket legends gameplay and this frankly doesn't look like it's much better. Happy to be corrected but I sense a strong pocket legends freemium vibe here but this time without the charming graphics of the original pocket legends. db2 Well-Known Member Oct 13, 2011 157 2 18 Michigan, USA #8 db2, Nov 30, 2017 Seems alright, based on playing a couple of stages. Reminds me a little of Nonstop Knight, but with way more actual gameplay (i.e. it's more Diablo than Cookie Clicker). Kwadius Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2015 63 3 8 #9 Kwadius, Nov 30, 2017 Exactly... JohnnyClash Well-Known Member Mar 11, 2016 611 1 0 #10 JohnnyClash, Nov 30, 2017 It’s an alright game. I bought the starter pack like I usually do.. not really sure if I’ll stick with this one though. As others have said, it’s just your dumbed down mobile mmo, slightly interesting, with tons of grinding. We will see how it goes. Tinsel Well-Known Member Dec 8, 2008 508 5 18 #11 Tinsel, Nov 30, 2017 The missions so far are ok (enjoying the arcade-y aspect) but is anyone else having trouble with repairs? I will (so far) always have higher repair costs than the mission makes me! I have held off upgrading anything at this time because I'm not sure how the money situation is. Do you have to keep cycling new equipment in so you don't have to repair? It's really odd and the help section only says to repair often (I don't have the money to do that) so that you can polish it to 125% (which costs the paid currency). Even selling off every other piece of gear I get I frequently lose money going on a mission if I attempt to repair afterwards. Is it easy to play yes, doesn’t have the same magic as their other games not really. Character art is more or less familiar but something’s missing. I’m OK with that easy tap to move tap to attack however there’s an auto button I feel is extremely lazy and the timers kill the fun. I did buy the starter pack however, this is the the only time I regret purchasing anything from this company in game. In short bursts this game might be extremely fun but, for long time enjoyment you might want to look elsewhere. It appeared Spacetime time has come and gone, Talaen Well-Known Member Aug 3, 2012 112 0 16 #13 Talaen, Dec 6, 2017 Agreed on all points. When I only log in to collect money periodically since I don't have enough to do anything meaningful, I know it is time to write off the five dollars and move on. Too bad, it seemed like it had a lot of promise but I'm out. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
