Basically, when a game or in app purchase are first released, there can be a delay (up to 24hrs) in when they first appear on the store. Also, Apple's servers may also be a little slower to start, and the game may start-up in the free mode. If this happens to you, you can go to the Settings menu (gear icon) and tap "Restore Purchases" and that will get you back to the right version. I'm going to monitor this, and add in additional fixes in a future update if the slowness in detecting your IAPs persists.
