One thing I dont like about some AR games is having to print out some stupid marker to use with a game to make it work. So if I have 10 of these type of games, I need to keep a pile of markers on hand to play! Personally, I cant be bothered with that. Do you just go around in the same circle diving to pick up stars? Do the buildings grow taller? Fall down, explode, or do anything more? Gotta be more to it than that! Maybe there is? But otherwise, it seems kinda boring to me! # pstal Well-Known Member Mar 20, 2014 101 6 18 #3 pstal, Nov 16, 2017 Last edited: Nov 16, 2017 Nope! You don't need the marker anymore! That's the point . ARKit does it in a very tricky way, so we don't need markers. You can just start the game anywhere - indoor, outside, on the parking lot, in the office and it will just work. It recognises vertical and horizontal lines and finally place your device in real 3d space. That's really tricky and I advise you just to test it out and have fun with mixing the game and reality. Yeap the buildings grow up. On each level there are different mountains, the number of mountains is growing as well. Finally there appear some balloons so the game becomes more and more demanding. As more buildings you have, the more income you can collect from your town (collecting income is other AR mode - just sightseeing your town in AR space and picking up the coins). That's quite simple game but we hope it gives a lot of fun and shows the power of AR technology nowadays - without markers! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
