I played this for a bit on my Philippines account a couple months back to get a feel for it, got my warrior up to level 20 or so. It's grindy, but what can you expect. Didn't do a lot of the social stuff since most players spoke little to no English (that I personally encountered, to be fair) so I'm looking forward to actually doing guild stuff/ co-op content this time. Would love to transfer my existing character to the US server, but I understand why I can't. I may even change to a different class this time. Milotorou Well-Known Member Mar 19, 2015 556 46 28 #17 Milotorou, Nov 15, 2017 Its definitely going to be grindy... like all free mmorpgs are to be honest.... Its still the first mmorpg to grace the app store that gets my attention, i didnt like Order and Chaos and everything else didnt feel "MMO" I saw my friend on android a week ago (he downloaded the PH version too) playing with his MOGA controller, so im trying my MFi on my iPad pro tonight, if that works I feel like im gonna have a good time # bigE1669 Well-Known Member Jan 15, 2009 109 0 0 IT Ill #18 bigE1669, Nov 15, 2017 Wow This "game" doesn't let you play. It automatically plays for you. Back to Titan Quest. Milotorou Well-Known Member Mar 19, 2015 556 46 28 #19 Milotorou, Nov 15, 2017 Its not like youre forced to use auto-play are you ? RazvanClau Member Sep 4, 2017 21 0 0 #20 RazvanClau, Nov 15, 2017 I've played Lineage 2 as a kid. I remember this game fondly. It was a major topic of discussing and shared time between my friends and I. This is not that game. Why? Because this is just a Skinner box. You get auto questing and auto-battle. Virtually you need to accept quest, wait, get reward, accept quest, rinse and repeat. There is no huge continent to explore. Actually, the game is divided into small sections where you do virtually nothing but wait. There is no difficulty whatsoever and while it sells the feeling of being strong, it doesn't sell the feeling of fun. I was starring at my iPad and asking myself ... can a game get more meaningless than this? In 20 minutes, my only input was to equip, upgrade gear and to auto-complete quests. I swear that if there wasn't the need to manually accept quests and take rewards, I could leave it overnight and wake up with a fully leveled character. This is not a game. This is an idle-clicker. Make no confusion, you get dungeons (kind-of), you get battlegrounds, you get parties but this is an idle clicker with some minimum input required from your side. The logic of the game is the same - slowly progress you further and further, giving you stronger and stronger gear. And I guess this is true for all MMOs but at least in those games some minimum skill was required and not to mention some input. Yes, you can not use auto-quest, auto-battle but what's the purpose? It is repetitive as heck and the difficulty is called exactly to you. There isn't that feeling of satisfaction of clearing a difficult dungeon (btw, in this game dungeon means a room of enemies) ... after 30 minutes of struggling with your friends or even strangers. It's not even fun. It reminds me of Tinder in a way - you do the same repetitive thing again and again when a simple button would have saved all the effort. The only impressive thing about it are its graphics but at the same time, I was kind of expecting a port of the desktop version. The graphics are impressive but it gives you the impression of a massive world - in practice, the levels are very small and limited in scope. So enjoy getting a question, waiting ten seconds for auto-battle to kill everything, getting your reward and starting again because this is what 90% of this game is. My conclusion - mindless. Even Adventure Capitalist required more thinking than this one. Yet, it's going to sell because there is a satisfying feeling to it. It rewards you for everything you do with visual cues, stats and so on. But you can't deny that it is just a grind based Asian MMO that plays itself. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
