Or can you freely explore the 3D environment? Thanks.... if you can freely explore then this game is going on my "to buy" list. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #14 metalcasket, Oct 18, 2017 Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but its on rails. You tap to go to predetermined locations. Also, I dont wanna be a party-pooper, but after having sunk some time into the game, its really not comparable to The Room series. This isnt about discovery, messing with mechanics, and whatnot as much it is about pure puzzles. Thats not to say theyre not great, but this is more on par with The Witness style of puzzles (even though theres much more than just line tracing puzzles) than it has in common with Talos Principle or the aforementioned Room games. badmanj Well-Known Member Mar 16, 2009 1,886 24 38 Software developer Reading, England http://www.underground-collective.com #15 badmanj, Oct 18, 2017 I take it this is far less repetitive than Witness? Those puzzles bored me so much. gekkota Well-Known Member Jul 17, 2008 1,489 2 38 #16 gekkota, Oct 18, 2017 I contacted the dev on Twitter to ask this very question. I'm still on IOS 10 so this may entice me to update... ironsam80 Well-Known Member Dec 14, 2010 1,151 34 48 #17 ironsam80, Oct 18, 2017 Last edited: Oct 18, 2017 Well I couldn’t stand and bought it. So it’s quite playable on Air1. Not the best frame rate but on the other hand not something so bad or game breaking. I’m on the 2nd room and till now I had one crash but again not something terrible. The graphics I don’t know how it seems on a pro but even on air1 are super impressive! For now I don’t see any big problem and I quite enjoying the game. The production is super high. If something will come later i’ll report here. As gekkota said here I m on iOS 11 so I don’t know the case for ios10. The puzzles are pretty cool. I love the fact that you can ask for hints and if you ask for the solution the game doesnt give it to you, it just solves it for you and lets you progress without letting you know the answer. That is such an excellent way to make the player want to come back and replay the game to try and solve the puzzle on their own. Ag3ntP3ndergast Well-Known Member Nov 5, 2016 82 4 8 #20 Ag3ntP3ndergast, Oct 19, 2017 Okay, thanks for the heads up. I do still like puzzles, so I may get this at some point anyway, but lack of free roaming is kinda a bummer for me. Oh well (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
