Ha. Still digging Harald and Jaipur, so they're 2/2 now.... jaxon58 Well-Known Member Feb 15, 2013 167 1 18 Game Developer Warrington, UK #4 jaxon58, Oct 12, 2017 There is no async mode in the multiplayer. Online games take around 20 minutes each I reckon. The mobile and Steam versions are all releasing today and have had a lot of time spent on them. The Steam version was Early Access, so understandably wasn't perfect. wfsm Member Feb 22, 2013 15 0 1 Programmer Shanghai, China #5 wfsm, Oct 13, 2017 Wait for more impressions, watched this game for a long time TheSop Well-Known Member Sep 24, 2016 264 0 16 #6 TheSop, Oct 13, 2017 Interested in this as well, it looks good. I was hoping post steam early release the UI would have had a bit of love, apparently not! Well one less game for the backlog then! if the devs show up here, any plans to address UI feedback? Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,616 377 83 #11 Talbs, Oct 15, 2017 I played the beta but was holding back my comments until others had confirmed (as is now). I found the UI a chore during beta and sent feedback to the devs explaining so. Granted it's not like they could just implement what is a large UI change with ease but yeh, I was not keen on the UI. It often was such that the card text would hide behind your finger. At least on iPhone. It's not like the card text is just there for flavour either, which would make it excusable. Core game text hiding behind your finger, and existed as such during the beta. I don't know how that would be acceptable for release. Card text was also a touch small. Why oh why not just get it right from the start!? Really great to see this game come to digital form, but I think they've tripped over at the finish line here. skoptic Well-Known Member Apr 3, 2015 634 82 28 #12 skoptic, Oct 15, 2017 It's a shame, I was hoping Nomad would get it right, but 2 platform betas and releases later, I assume the UI won't get an overhaul Kallizm Active Member Dec 21, 2013 31 0 6 e-Learning Designer Indianapolis, IN #13 Kallizm, Oct 16, 2017 The game gets stuck on a black screen if you switch out of Smash-Up and back into it. Also, there's some small glitches on the main screen and various sub-menus. When I reported it to the devs during the final days of the beta I was told they wouldn't be addressed until the next version of the game. That along with the lack of async play has kept me from purchasing it as of now. I enjoyed my time with the beta despite only being able to play solo given the lack of async. I've also heard that if you can find someone online to play with, the turn timers aren't very fair given the chore of navigating the game's UI on a phone screen. No doubt it is! skoptic Well-Known Member Apr 3, 2015 634 82 28 #18 skoptic, Oct 18, 2017 thanks DaveElk New Member Oct 20, 2017 1 0 0 #19 DaveElk, Oct 20, 2017 Give this one lots more time to get their act together Just bought this evening. Buggy. The app is currently stuck on After this base score, the winner looks at the top three cards of the base deck... Ive tapped everything on the screen, but nothing happens. Also, the horizontal ticker and vertical text scrolling on cards is really annoying. Theres no reason the text size cant be adjusted to fit the size allotted for it. Lastly, it is difficult to select a card to play from your hand. I have to move my finger back and forth by millimeters to try and get the correct card highlighted. Frequently it skips from the card just before to the card just after. This app isnt fully baked. skoptic Well-Known Member Apr 3, 2015 634 82 28 #20 skoptic, Oct 20, 2017 Hmm, looking at the AppStore, the dev responses are cut and paste generic blah that doesnt address the questions, or commit to anything specific.
