I hate it when game design has no confirmation. Especially when dealing with premium currency. I came back from another game that did the exact same thing and people were complaining all over reddit. PikPok Well-Known Member Nov 26, 2009 938 1 0 Wellington #6 PikPok, Oct 11, 2017 Thanks for the feedback. The team will be reading this thread, so feel free to point out the good and bad and we'll be able to review and take action if appropriate (or hopefully at least respond why things are done a certain way). Also, for any fans if you head over to the official Facebook page you might be able to catch the tshirt giveaway competition as well https://www.facebook.com/intothedeadgame/ chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #7 chief78, Oct 11, 2017 Glad to see the dev active in the thread. I'm really enjoying this but the IAPs are just too much. If there was a $10 option to buy out the timers and automatically get 2 bags to open when redeeming rewards, and maybe also throw that shotgun - that is $10 by itself - in, then I would believe my money was well spent. But not $10 monthly memberships and gold boosts and real $$ for a gun and the such.....just my 2 cents but I would like some way to support this game, just not with what's offered atm. - CHIEF orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #8 orangecan, Oct 11, 2017 Never played the first one, I seem to remember I had an iPod touch at the time and it just couldn't handle it. So gameplay wise I quite like it, again not having played the first I can't comment on what it was like, but so far everything seems to be misty roads and fields - be interested to know whether there's much variety later on but I like the atmosphere. Controls seem pretty good and I've so far always died because I was shit which is always a good sign. It's the freemium elements that are putting me off persevering though, it does seem to be very typical timers/collect parts/open crates malarkey - again I don't know if the first was freemium or not. I'm going to carry on with it though, I am enjoying the gameplay itself. batmania Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2014 49 0 0 #9 batmania, Oct 11, 2017 How exactly does the vip work. Can I play survival events without tickets? Can I play as much as I want if Im vip? I want to know this before I purchase it, because if you cant then I dont feel its worth it. darrinsden Well-Known Member Jun 5, 2009 114 1 18 #10 darrinsden, Oct 12, 2017 Last edited: Oct 12, 2017 Unfortunately getting no firing sounds on the 12.8,iPad With the 4 guns I have, none of them have a firing sound.. though the weed wacker and all other sounds come through fine Sound comes through great on the iphone Edit, there was a new update That fixed the sound PikPok Well-Known Member Nov 26, 2009 938 1 0 Wellington #11 PikPok, Oct 12, 2017 We can appreciate some will find the IAP not worth it. But don't worry about supporting us. Just playing the game and having fun is support enough. If you manage to watch a few rewarded videos along the way, that would be appreciated. You do get free tickets to play the Survival Events. They are more or less a separate energy system. So with the VIP you can play the event as much as you want when ever you want. batmania Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2014 49 0 0 #12 batmania, Oct 12, 2017 Awesome, thanks! As Zephyr Member Sep 8, 2012 13 0 0 #13 As Zephyr, Oct 12, 2017 It has a story now! I loved the first game for the atmosphere but lose interest after a while because it is basically like an endless runner. I am a writer and i so appreciate story telling in any medium. Much to my surprise that this game finally has a narrative. A good story equals purpose to play for me so this good. Will post more once i play longer into this game. PikPok Well-Known Member Nov 26, 2009 938 1 0 Wellington #14 PikPok, Oct 12, 2017 We'd definitely appreciate your feedback on the story and our approach to telling it. Hope you enjoy it. Just wanted to point that out. Thanks for the game, I'm loving it so far, especially since I can play this during my commute. No online required!!! Graphics are awesome and and you had me ducking for cover, LOL. One question, will there ever be a Breakneck 2? Still loving that one as well psj3809 Moderator Jan 13, 2011 12,972 722 113 England #17 psj3809, Oct 12, 2017 Loved the original and now this kinda has a story it really improves it. The game looks great and plays really well. Feels far better as it now has the story. Watched a few videos to help you and Ill buy an IAP for sure as Im loving this game. Rangerlump Well-Known Member Jan 20, 2010 482 23 18 #18 Rangerlump, Oct 12, 2017 So I could play the first one as long as I wanted, now I see that they bought into the "insert another quarter" to continue model. Right now Im forced into a long tutorial spanning many missions... my question is, its there just a arcade mode that opens later that doesnt require energy?? And a monthly subscription for infinite energy at $9.99???? World Of Warcraft was 14.99 a month. If there was an IAP for removing energy sure..... PikPok Well-Known Member Nov 26, 2009 938 1 0 Wellington #19 PikPok, Oct 12, 2017 There is a daily mode that opens up within the first chapter which you can play without limitation. Outside of that, you can obtain all the weapons and play through the whole story campaign, the daily mode, and the survival mode without ever having to pay for an IAP or even watch an ad. In other words, you can play the whole game for free if you want to, and are welcome to do so. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,774 1,003 113 #20 ste86uk, Oct 12, 2017 You know I played the first and liked it a bit but never really sank any time into the game so I may give this a download and a proper try. IAP doesn't really bother me but I'll only buy any I feel has value to me and is worth it. Timers don't even bother me since these days I play in short bursts anyway with many games since I have work and consoles anyway. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
