I thought I hit a payeall ona premium game but you will die, resurrect, and start over with permanent upgraded stats if you did so in your previous run(s). My problem is my game glitched out after resurrecting the first time. I have to go thru the explanation of controls (really need to add a way to skip this) and then find a "bomber" enemy that isn't there (just background) and my attack screen shows "punch@0" or something like that. I can fire any attack even though the screen shows for a punch, but then nothing happens and it's just stuck... The playtime I did have was ABSOLUTELY awesome EDIT: Ok so I went back and played....I figured put what the bug is. There are hidden cities and airports when on missions and they basically serve the purpose of getting destroyed to give u additional resources (aka the currency uswd to upgrade and repair ur bot). Well, you have to hit the target button on the background scenery and this is apparently triggering it to pull up the invisible "bomber" that freezes the game up. So just don't do that and ur ok. Actually, enemies come to u so there's no need to search them. anthony78 Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2015 3,128 704 113 #9 anthony78, Sep 29, 2017 Hmm...may wait until they straighten this out. Also, what are the IAPs in this for? chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #10 chief78, Sep 29, 2017 Just for extra currency in-game. Their retro theme, idiosyncratic art style, and multiplicity of gameplay mechanics has always made each new release seem exciting and familiar at the same time. Last Colossus hearkens back to their older release War of Eclipse in that both games make use of a Sci-Fi theme and individual battles using a gauge mechanic. This one possesses what seems to be one of the most coherent and well-developed of their storylines which is somewhat reminiscent of the classic alien invasion scenarios of "Childhood's End" and "The Day the Earth a Stood Still." It is also a very streamlined experience in terms of limiting the diversity of customizations. This limitation seems to place more emphasis on the narrative and gameplay without the presence of secondary rewards as motivators. I always take that as the sign of a good game. Every facet of Last Colossus works together cohesively while being augmented by the sense of intimacy created by the large colossus and interior control panel. It is difficult to compare Game Stew games to each other because each is so amazing and unique. As such, while I would hesitate to label it their best game to date, it is certainly a damn fine game, easily to be counted among my all-time personal favorites. As you beat the boss for a chapter, new moves or perks unlock. Just beat the 1st boss (Spectre) and a repair upgrade is now available (able to repair more when upgraded). chief78 Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2012 2,317 7 38 #20 chief78, Sep 30, 2017 Ok so a few tips: 1) The one level that the glitch I mentioned previously springs up on is the air level when ur only fighting jets. If you search without using a radar ping within a few seconds, it triggers the glitch. 2) The repair skill that you gain after beating the 1st boss (Rhino...not Spectre like I said....playing too many games Lol) actually allows u to repair during a battle. Absolutely awesome as it adds a whole layer of long term strategy and eliminates the need to use ur precious resources that u absolutely need to reserve for upgrades only. 3) There wasn't an added ability for beating the 2nd boss (Iron Sun), but a ton of currency. When u beat the 3rd boss, u get a sweet sword attack that does good damage with a couple upgrades. U also get an interesting cinematic... 4) Energy will be ur bane during battles, and it is the strategic piece (other than keeping ur health up) of the game. I originally invested big on upgrading the size of the tank...well I forgot about upgrading the percentage of energy u can recover from the skill that replenishes energy, so word to the wise # 5) Besides the air level, it's a good idea to continually ping ur radar (be mindful a tiny amount of energy is spent) to try to find the hisden bases, cities, airports, and even monuments. They add up to extra resources and sadistically a TON of deaths 6) That brings me to my final bit of wisdom. HOLY CRAP THIS COLOSSUS IS A BEING OF DEATH AMD DESTRUCTION!! I think I've killed about 8,000+ civilians today ## 7) There is a panel at the bottom of ur fight HUD that says "Slide to Open"...then 3 levers to pull up and a big button to hit to the right....haven't done it yet but I'm assuming that must be a fail-safe "Everyone dies with me" scenario....not sure.... But this is a fantastic game that I am absolutely in love with. This isn't just game of the week, I'd put it up for GOTY as well #### (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
