Not to mention some of the optional non-game things you unlock are of significant length if you choose to partake of them (trying to avoid spoilers here). It's certainly not short, if that's the concern. currymutton Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 4,430 1 0 #8 currymutton, Sep 21, 2017 Whinning: damn this is a very, very expensive week. I didnt use a guide except for one element relating to post-game. I spent 40 hours or more, completing all of the core puzzles, and didnt even solve all of the optional mysteries. I spent even more time, post-game. If you use a guide, it may take you far less, but you will likely enjoy it far less. ROGER-NL Well-Known Member May 21, 2012 4,030 340 83 Male Gamer. I can safely say that The Witness surpasses Kairo in every single way possible. Seriously, this game is a STEAL at 10 dollars. It's an amazing game, with meticulous puzzle design and enchantingly beautiful graphics. It'll take you around 20 hours to reach an endgame if you're good with puzzles, and maybe twice that to 100% the game. Loads of content. nkarafo Well-Known Member Mar 2, 2011 864 14 18 #18 nkarafo, Sep 21, 2017 Any gameplay video? Is there any background music? Impressions? How is the frame rate, e.g. in iPhone 6? Thanks. TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #19 TheGreatEscaper, Sep 21, 2017 No background music, but lots of sound effects. Tons of gameplay videos for the PC version are available online but be aware that it plays slightly differently on iOS with a fairly novel control scheme I haven't seen before: swipe to look around, tap somewhere to walk there. It's a little clunky since you can never quite replicate the feeling of freely and smoothly walking around, but it also has its advantages over the typical control scheme since sometimes the place you want to go is in sight, but a large walking distance away. Impressions: a fantastic puzzle game. You are on an island with a huuuge number of panels scattered around the island. Every panel is a puzzle - the rules of each puzzle are for you to figure out. There are many different mechanics and puzzle sets around the island and I can guarantee there will be a few that surprise you. There's not much else to say without spoiling the experience other than it's one of the greatest masterpieces in video game puzzle design I've ever played.
