It does indeed look like Kingdom in space. Gotta be a good thing, right? MetaGonzo Well-Known Member May 7, 2009 1,459 271 83 #5 MetaGonzo, Sep 6, 2017 Had time for a few minutes (got to love a slow day every now and again). It is Kingdom basically. It has its own charm but I'm not quite sure it matches that of Kingdom itself. It certainly provides a few more visual cues regarding how to go about your business. I found the "boss" at one end of the level. I stood watching it for a few moments and then I was dead, game over; no feedback that I could see indicating that I was being attacked. Perhaps it was subtle and I was too busy looking at the "boss". I'm on the fence about this one and I recommend that anyone else in a similar situation wait for more imps. I'll try to have a good go but that really will have to be later. I like that there's an upgrade system, something I felt Kingdoms needed. The visual style is great, and overall excited to try it. EDIT: I watched some vids on YouTube, it looks like the background has no depth, just a flat bitmap. Kind of disappointing. Also it seems the "swipe down to build/buy" mechanic from Kingdoms is not present here, requiring you to lift your hands from the side and tap the middle of the screen. This may seem like a trivial point, but when I am playing on the bus, or in bed, it actually makes it quite awkward. There also doesn't seem to be any weather effects, just day/night cycle. This is looking like a poor-mans Kingdoms in space. Hesitating and waiting for more imps.
