The implementation is basic in the sense of no skip level, no hints, it is just focusing on the puzzles. There is only a level overview menu, and has one setting: game sounds on/off (there is no music but that is fine for me, it is the first thing I turn of anyway). The puzzles themselves teach you what to do and that works fine. When a new mechanic is introduced, a level will teach you how it works, first. There have been a few already, like collecting items, mirrored drawing (inverted too), separating dissimilar items, gates, and combinations with them. I can't wait to see more mechanics and more combinations. It's hard to explain what you exactly need to do, so I won't try The YouTube clip from the dev gives a good idea, I think. To what extent is the "drawing" mechanics similar to Blek? Must each "stroke" be always drawn in a single shot without interruption? Is there a length limit to the stroke? paulkane Well-Known Member Sep 6, 2012 1,102 0 36 Library automaton Denver #5 paulkane, Sep 7, 2017 Last edited: Sep 7, 2017 Not sure I understand what I'm suppose to do with the orange and purple dots? Edit: I figured it out. chandler55 Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 49 0 0 #6 chandler55, Sep 7, 2017 there's only 10 or so blek-style levels, otherwise you can take your time with your stroke. theres no length limit, but some levels do require you to draw some decent sized lines chandler55 Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 49 0 0 #7 chandler55, Sep 7, 2017 @paulkane, @saosijs thanks for the kind comments paulkane Well-Known Member Sep 6, 2012 1,102 0 36 Library automaton Denver #8 paulkane, Sep 7, 2017 I love how each level dissolves if you get it wrong and the explosion of tiny triangles when you get it right! That extra level of polish really shines through. James Cameron Well-Known Member Feb 15, 2013 58 0 0 #13 James Cameron, Sep 11, 2017 At last another really great puzzler! The puzzles at times really reminded me of The Witness, with a bit of Blek thrown in. The gameplay is constantly evolving to keep things exciting but it is always fun and never frustrating. As I approached level 100 I became a little sad as I thought I was reaching the end but as 101 flashed on the screen and the gameplay continued to evolve yet again I realised just how special this game really is. This is not one to be missed! currymutton Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 4,430 1 0 #14 currymutton, Sep 11, 2017 Commentary: really great little game, clean and minimalist UI. But the blue/orange needs a bit more explanation of the rules. Not too hard to figure out after 3 runs or so. Statement: my 6 year old daughter loves it. Observation: if you have Apple Pencil, you will be delighted to find it is supported (and pressure sensitive)! chandler55 Well-Known Member Oct 16, 2008 49 0 0 #15 chandler55, Sep 11, 2017 thanks for the comments guys. Adding as many mechanics as possible was definitely a focus for this game to keep it fresh. I'll think about updating the blue/orange mechanic for sure, its the only mechanic in the game that requires you to do something you were taught not to do in the game so its a bit odd. Thinking about working on an update that adds 10-15 more levels with quite a bit of challenge for the keeners It actually doesnt support apple pencil, the width is based on speed :| but I can easily add support in on the next update harrrrrrr Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2009 151 18 18 #16 harrrrrrr, Sep 11, 2017 Excellent game... new and refreshing change of pace.
