In the character selection screenshot, there are stars which could mean more stars mean stronger characters. And in Gameloft style, you could probably pay to upgrade them. Just speculation though, but judging from this company's practices, it isn't far off. hellscaretaker Well-Known Member May 27, 2012 1,098 6 38 Im a youtube gamer/streamer https://www.youtube.com/user/touchgameplay #4 hellscaretaker, Aug 16, 2017 Pay2win is items you can't get without paying. The 250 heroes is kind of misleading though as many of them are responsible or lower tier versions of the same hero. As for the pay to win aspect, it's definitely not a pay to win game. All in all its a solid game. I'm not a fan of the art style but the gameplay more than makes up for it. WjndWalk3r Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2015 305 5 18 #12 WjndWalk3r, Mar 11, 2018 Because of endless grind The Ascend material droprate is so low, even the lowest tier material is hard to drop Tinsel Well-Known Member Dec 8, 2008 508 5 18 #13 Tinsel, Mar 11, 2018 IMHO the MOBA portion is dreadful. AoV has nothing to worry about. The graphics are completely amazing, but the moba gameplay is horrid. The single player adventure stuff is fine (and often fun) but feels like a very diluted version of previous dungeon hunters. Also it is much more pay to win than any other moba because although your levels and equipment only matter in the single player portion, the star rating of your champion DOES translate into better stats for the moba portion. So if you pay through the nose and get some five stars and then pay even more to upgrade them to six stars, you will have a massive stat boost over the typical free to play three star champs while playing the moba portion of the game. HallmarkCard Well-Known Member Mar 21, 2015 176 5 18 #14 HallmarkCard, Mar 15, 2018 I think the game is ok. It's fun. 5v5 has been closed for months. I don't play it a lot, but it's decent. I like the adventures and storyline. The characters themselves are cool Gameloft.Shaun New Member Mar 16, 2018 2 0 0 Community Manager @ Gameloft Montreal #15 Gameloft.Shaun, Mar 16, 2018 Hi everyone, First of all I'd like to thank you all for giving your feedback about Dungeon Hunter Champions!
