Drop rates are very generous, and you can re-invest your currency gem drops to increase the rate of gem drops. Cleared the final wave after about 2.5-3 days of nonstop playing only to realize hard mode is unlocked with new levels and stages coming soon. Currently stuck on wave 40 of hard mode. The maps don't change and he can reach both entrance points from the top left corner. While the towers all have some individuality to them, nothing really beats raw power in defeating enemies. Although the game definitely has it's flaws, (The monsters don't have much variety, the map is always the same, and the monster, Speedy, doesn't even work) I just love the joy of finally overcoming the milestones, whether it is beating stages 40, 50, and 60 in both modes or just trying to climb the global gamecenter leaderboard (#121 as of now woo!) Many people have called this game P2W and just ad spam, it really isn't. I have beaten the game without watching ads for anything but the premium currency. (This was because the upgrade that causes premium currency to drop more often made it drop less often.) Now that the premium currency drops regularly, I have managed to get the double gold and am 100 away from double attack. Most of the people who see the ads that give boots automatically assume the dev of the game is money hungry and call it ad spam. They call it P2W because they struggle with the spike in difficulty on rounds 40 and 60. As far as my setup goes, I just use Mocha (lvl 264) in the top center boosted with speedy (which doesn't work but helps with rounds 16-20 on hard mode) and Mighty (lvl 160). The levels of Mocha and Mighty do not need to be that high, since one attack does 11 million damage, and beating the game should be doable with both at around level 100-150. Tips : 1. Do not watch ads for 2x damage to beat the wave you are stuck on, since you will still have to attempt the wave on your next "run-through". 2. I only do the common+ summons, since you will still most likely get 2/3 rare+ monsters for the 30 orbs that guarantee 1 rare+. As far as the Epic+ summons go, the premium currency is better spent on 2x gold, 2x damage, or the gem digger upgrade. 3. For the harder waves like 40 and 60, wait for the main boss (the healer for wave 40, and the king for wave 60) to get next to your main damage dealing monster (I use mocha) then use the freeze on the healer. This will allow you to kill the healer on wave 40 and the kind on 60. For the healer on 60, either level up Mocha high enough where its dps is higher than the heal spams regen, or have a stun monster stun it. 4. In waves 17,27,37, and 47 in the hard mode, numerous goblins are sent your way which is easy gold. I usually farm rounds 11-20, killing the goblins then having the mage freeze mocha and let the soldiers get to the chest. TL;DR : Summoner's Greed is a great game if you are looking to waste some time. Although it is called P2W and ad spam, once you put some effort into levelling your monsters up and buying upgrades the game can be beaten and is an enjoyable experience. Hopefully this helped some of you out and maybe even convinced you to try the game! I thought the healer (archmage) was on round 40 but it is actually on round 50. AS far as round 40 goes, use the freeze spell and any monsters with stun abilities to gain some time to take out the boss. Another thing I forgot to mention was that I did buy the time doubler IAP. It definitely makes the game go faster but I only got that after I had beaten wave 40 of hard mode, so it is not necessary for beating the game.
