It's a ton of fun. It has just enough depth/mechanics to be interesting for quite some time. I haven't gotten a real sense of how "freemium" things are, but I do wish the IAPs were a bit cheaper. It's 7.99 for a coin doubler + campfires (essentially free checkpoints - think Leap Day - these can also be gained by watching an ad, or an individual IAP of 1.99). Removing ads is 4.99. To me, it seems a little steep...that's about 13 bucks for an ad free experience - but at least the option is there.
