More similar to Card Crawl than Card Thief, so way faster and simpler yet super addicting as usual. Highly recommended (well, if you like card games....all the dev games are mandatory imho). I see some made potions there but what about it? Are these the potions i made all the times i played or the last time? Also it would be nice to have a list of all unlocked potions kind of an achievement menu and the names of potions. jkilla Active Member Oct 16, 2008 30 0 6 #13 jkilla, Aug 3, 2017 Game Failed. Game Failed. Game Failed. WTF?? I must be missing some key element of strategy here... Seems like it's completely luck based? I get all the way to the last customer and I either don't have the element they want or the final cards don't add up to a positive score. How the heck do you play this game? Right now I'm feeling like I just wasted 1.99 and I loved card crawl I rack up huge points and still fail the game every time. sakara214ever Well-Known Member May 10, 2012 1,262 168 63 #14 sakara214ever, Aug 3, 2017 Last edited: Aug 3, 2017 Keep an eye at how many cards you have in each pile which you can see by a number at the bottom of each pile. Try to have equal number of cards in each pile after every customer you serve or at least if not equal 1-2 cards difference. For example after you serve a customer if you have 10 blue 6 green 4 yellow 1 red card you will most probably fail in the end (not always but the the possibility increases) and that is because you can not "kick" as many customers as you want out if the shop. Try not to leave many black cards each time a customer comes not more than two each time and discard them with the first chance you get. Do not always try to play the card the customer likes but be sure to play the one he/she wants. Keep an eye at what the next customer (from the one you serve now) wants. Hope this helps. Mind yourself though you will not always be succesful i almost win 5-6 of 10 games i play. Buy it, if you love Card Thief or puzzle game in general. Lighter in theme but still tons of fun. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #16 vectorarchitekt, Aug 3, 2017 I played this all through beta and I have never won a single round. I tried to carefully conserve the right cards and use the boot. But in the end, some customer comes along and all the cards are spoiled in a row that I draw and I'm screwed. One day I will get good at this! retr0spective Well-Known Member May 24, 2011 915 17 18 Riverside, CA #17 retr0spective, Aug 3, 2017 Another solitaire gem from Rauers, I can't wait to get into it! Can someone explain the game mechanics in detail? I'm still a little unclear after the tutorial. 1. If a cards preference color symbol is on the left or right, I assume the matching color card must be positioned on the corresponding side? 2. When a symbol is positioned at the bottom, does that mean any card of that color will give a bonus? Tutorial wasn't clear if it was the bottom position that granted that or it had to be that clover symbol. 3. If you position a matching color card on the right side of a card, a bonus is instantly applied. If you then position a bonus matching card between those 2 cards, which one(s) will get the new bonus applied? 4. Any special mechanics to be aware of? Feature request: Could we get an option to freeze the deck when the round ends so I can look at the cards to see how the bonuses were applied? The deck clears so quickly I can't review what happened which is why I'm having a hard time understanding the rules. I try to click the pause button but don't reach it fast enough. A feature to toggle the end round pause would be great as once I understand the mechanics I'll want it to move on quickly. A special thanks to Arnold for making the colors shades that a color blind person can distinguish. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
