Designed specifically for one-handed offline play, it's a perfect fit for whenever you have a free minute. Every round you need to build 3 poker hands so that weaker poker hands are placed on top of stronger ones. With 6 cards to choose from, you have plenty of interesting options every turn. Unused cards persist between rounds so every choice matters! Get lucky and score tons of points for stronger combinations on higher levels, or fight for survival with bare pairs. It wouldn't be a poker game without luck involved! Store memories of your best hands as photos, and share them with your friends. ◆ ◆ ◆ The game was heavily inspired by Chinese Poker with its many variants (especially Open Face Chinese and Pineapple) and mobile puzzle games, like Threes, 2048 and Merged The game is completely free and doesn't have any ads Information Seller:Denis Buslaev Genre:Card, Puzzle Release:Jul 28, 2017 Updated:Mar 02, 2018 Version:1.31 Size:75.5 MB TouchArcade Rating:Unrated User Rating: (2) Your Rating:unrated Compatibility:HD Universal empty bastian.walker Member Dec 19, 2016 17 0 0 #2 bastian.walker, Jul 28, 2017 I got to help test this game before release. It has interesting puzzle mechanics, and is a fun take on your usual poker app-store game. I think everyone should give it a go, and see for yourself. Jalapeno, Aug 3, 2017 So you can never have a straight or flush in bott row because you need a min of 1 pair in bottom row?..... So why does the scoring sheet show a royal flush at bottom? ObsoleteOne Well-Known Member Jun 2, 2017 79 27 18 #5 ObsoleteOne, Aug 3, 2017 It's not like that. When we say "at least a pair at the bottom level is required" it means that the combination at the bootom level should be one pair or stronger (according to poker hand rankings), not that you need to have an actual pair of same rank cards. You can read this rule as "you can't have a high card at the bottom level" since a high card is the only combination which is weaker than a pair. J.R. Thanks for making an awesome game. I love it! sugimulm Well-Known Member Aug 28, 2010 2,457 46 48 The last time zone for iOS game releases :( #10 sugimulm, Aug 5, 2017 Just curious, how much for the IAP? Game looks mighty interesting ObsoleteOne Well-Known Member Jun 2, 2017 79 27 18 #11 ObsoleteOne, Aug 5, 2017 It's $1.99 (Tier 2). I'm obviously biased here but I truly believe that it's worth a try it if it looks interesting to you. This game can't appeal to everyone since it's a niche game but if you are into poker at least a little and don't mind to actually think couple turns ahead then I don't know what can stop you from enjoying it. Game mechanics just work for some reason and create many unique and, I dare to say, emotional situations. There is nothing like it on the market. It plays differently from any form of poker that I know, and I think it just deserves to be played. That's basically my main reason why I spent time and money to bring it to life. I don't think IAP is necessary. It's just an ad block and I don't think we show that many ads. We try not to show ads after every short game. And longer games can go on for 20 mins easily. J.R. Jalapeno Well-Known Member Oct 6, 2008 663 0 16 #12 J.R. Jalapeno, Aug 5, 2017 Definitely download it. Its fantastic and challenging. I love it and easily worthy of 2 clams. sugimulm Well-Known Member Aug 28, 2010 2,457 46 48 The last time zone for iOS game releases :( #13 sugimulm, Aug 6, 2017 Awesome! Thank you! mr_bez Well-Known Member Dec 20, 2012 2,053 3 38 #14 mr_bez, Aug 8, 2017 Absolutely love this. I've played for about four and a half hours and bought the Premium unlock for £1.99 hours ago. This is one of those games that will live on my device forever and I'll keep dropping in every now and then for a few more rounds. I love games like Sage Solitaire by Zack Gage and King Solitaire by Simple Machine LLC, but I honestly think this is better than both. The tactics in it are great and there are multiple layers to balance. Any cards you don't use to make poker hands in each turn are shuffled and used again for the next round, so as well as optimising your current hand you have to think about what you're leaving for the next one. My one criticism is that it shows NOT ENOUGH ads. It shows them after each game, but there's no limit to the number of rounds in a game if you're good/lucky enough. I suggest showing them after every 5 rounds or at the end of a game. I'm up to round 40 on my current game and wouldn't have seen a single ad even if I hadn't bought the premium unlock. (Also, GC leaderboards for highest score and most rounds would be nice, but definitely not a dealbreaker.) shfrost Well-Known Member Apr 9, 2010 432 10 18 Artist Wooded area #15 shfrost, Aug 8, 2017 Got to round 4, exited game, started again but no cards are shown. Unable to play game in progress and cannot start new game. Rebooted, same problem - game locked. Uninstalled the app then reinstalled and played to round 4, then exited and reentered. Cards were there! Played the round and exited/reentered. So far, so good! Using iPone 6+. Just got this message when starting round 6: "No future card or move can help you to avoid losing. You can tap on the red hand symbol to finish the game." Now, that kind of sucks, being dealt a losing hand before even starting the round. Game over. ???# Still, I'm liking the game but will test a bit more before purchasing the ad remover. mr_bez Well-Known Member Dec 20, 2012 2,053 3 38 #16 mr_bez, Aug 8, 2017 The cards you get at the start of the round are the cards you didn't use in your last round. So if you don't use many cards in round 5, you're more likely to get an unwinnable hand in round 6. shfrost Well-Known Member Apr 9, 2010 432 10 18 Artist Wooded area #17 shfrost, Aug 8, 2017 Ah, that takes a bit of the sting out. Although, I guess it means I did it to myself? # mr_bez Well-Known Member Dec 20, 2012 2,053 3 38 #18 mr_bez, Aug 8, 2017 I'm afraid so! Good luck stretching out those games. It can get quite tense when you're on a high score and don't have the cards you want. Sometimes you just have to try to keep your options open for the next round and cross your fingers that all your high cards don't end up on the top row! ObsoleteOne Well-Known Member Jun 2, 2017 79 27 18 #19 ObsoleteOne, Aug 18, 2017 It took way, way longer than it should but our first update is finally available in the store. It's mostly about bug fixes. It should hopefully prevent the game from going blank after restoring which sometimes happened to some people (although rarely) and there are plenty of smaller changes and fixes including IAP purchase bug. We have almost implemented achievements but decided to test them a little more before shipping so those are expected in the next update. We also added our first localization to Russian (I am Russian btw) and it seems we are ready to add other non-tricky languages but don't know where to start yet honestly. We also added 'Rate us' dialog and I hope you could take a minute to leave a rating or review since people say those are kinda important for visibility. For those who already playing the game 'Rate us' might pop-up right after your next game since the algorithm for showing it works around lifetime number of games. Hope that won't annoy you. At least we tried to make it beautiful . ObsoleteOne Well-Known Member Jun 2, 2017 79 27 18 #20 ObsoleteOne, Aug 18, 2017 Thank you for the kind words and additional thanks for the review on the store. I get what you are saying. The monetization model for the game is questionable, to say the least. It had never been the focus of this project though. I even wanted to go with free game with 'Pay as much as you want' IAP but figured it was harder to design around that. I care about IAP's in the first place because they show me that there are people who really enjoy the game and it proves to me that it was worth it to make the game. I hope we'll add couple more card skins later to make IAP feel more valuable but other than that I don't know what to do. We are working on implementing achievements now and after we finish those, adding leaderboards would be 3 clicks and one line of code. That being said I'm not convinced we should do it since from my personal experience leaderboards often times lead to not so great experience. When I usually look at the general leaderboards I often find myself somewhere so down below that it's hard to have any positive feelings about that. Even in Selfie Poker there people who had crushed my 9-month best in the frst day of play. And that's before we start talking about possible ways to cheat in an offline only game. I believe that instead of one huge leaderboard it's better to have something like league-type or daily challenge leaderboards. So in short. The easy way to implement leaderboards I believe isn't good enough. And the hard and right way might be too hard for us right now. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
