Has anyone tried this out? toofinedog Well-Known Member Oct 18, 2013 65 0 6 #3 toofinedog, Jul 22, 2017 I tried it out. The bunny moves left/right constantly, and you tap to turn. You do stop on moving platforms. Everything else is executed by a tap or hold. Ladders, switches, and signs are contextual taps. Jumps, double jumps, and wall jumps are holds. Grabbing a hanging ladder seems harder than it should be. You can also jump off ladders which is great for descending larger ones. Level goals are to collect various items and find the carrot. Only the carrot is required to complete the levels which are varied even in world 1. Turtles fart fire. I encountered a bug in the cave of despair. After the first moving platform, I jumped. My bunny continued moving to the right and got stuck at the wall with controls unresponsive. It's a fun game, but the control limitations (which are intentional) feel more difficult to master than the platforming itself. krankyrobot Cancelled Patreon Indie Jun 23, 2015 40 0 6 Denver, CO http://www.krankyrobot.com #4 krankyrobot, Jul 22, 2017 Hi toofinedog, I'm the developer. Has the bug happened to you again? It happen to me early on in testing; I thought I fixed it. Any more details on how this happens would be extremely helpful. Don't forget to check out the Game Hints in the "?" menu. 13 "fails" and you're already on World-2 Level-2. Not bad for a noob! ;^) Glad you're having fun! toofinedog Well-Known Member Oct 18, 2013 65 0 6 #5 toofinedog, Jul 22, 2017 I jumped from the moving platform at the same spot but didn't get stuck this time. I'll see if it happens again since I haven't beat the level yet. I'll let you know if I encounter any other problems. krankyrobot Cancelled Patreon Indie Jun 23, 2015 40 0 6 Denver, CO http://www.krankyrobot.com #6 krankyrobot, Jul 22, 2017 Thanks for getting back to me. BTW, you can walk through some walls: at the start of 2-2, try jumping into the left wall. Also, on the elevators, tap twice to turn around. (You might be able to wall jump where waterfalls are too.) toofinedog Well-Known Member Oct 18, 2013 65 0 6 #7 toofinedog, Jul 23, 2017 Thanks. I actually did wall jump a waterfall after I found that aforementioned hanging ladder to be tricky. I think a double jump would reach that particular platform too. I had the same bug occur in the cave of adventure. This time, I jumped from the moving platform and was not ground level, so I floated until I hit the wall, fell to the ground, and continued to have movement. I have found a lot of secret passages. I like that the level design is not as linear as it appears. krankyrobot Cancelled Patreon Indie Jun 23, 2015 40 0 6 Denver, CO http://www.krankyrobot.com #8 krankyrobot, Jul 23, 2017 I've submitted an update to the App Store. This is a cute one tap platformer, but I am struggling with the responsiveness of the controls. The ladders are hard to get up sometimes and when I tap to switch direction, there is a lag. Tighter controls would be great. krankyrobot Cancelled Patreon Indie Jun 23, 2015 40 0 6 Denver, CO http://www.krankyrobot.com #17 krankyrobot, Jul 28, 2017 Hi paulkane, I'm the developer. The slight delay is intentional. Without it most people, my-self included, are unable to process what's happening in the game fast enough and it becomes unplayable. Give it a little time and I believe you'll get the hang of it. As with any radically new play control, there is usually a bit of an adjustment period. Make sure your quick taps are "quick". I hope this helps and by the way have fun.
