Game alone is too nice to be limited on internet connection and depending merely on finding real opponents. Ironically it's soo good that I'd like to play it in any situation at any place; but i can't:/ I'm absolutely aware that I'm minority and not in any targeted players group by not being able to have internet not only by wifi, but still... Talbs Well-Known Member May 1, 2011 2,616 377 83 #3 Talbs, Jul 14, 2017 There's a strong-ish voice at least here on TA to see games have offline and AI vs capability. I'm another one of those. I've got plenty of Internet connectivity, but I still prefer to play against AI. I actually like working out the quirks of the AI and seeing their patterns of play if there are any. It's actually like a game in a, if the AI's done well that is, and these days it usually is. I find playing against humans tedious and nerve wrecking at times because of the length of time taken to make plays and the perception of taunting. That said, have had plenty of thrilling online plays though. Anyway, without offline mode I probably won't touch this. I don't touch hearthstone much, as great as it is, because it just feels online and let's face it, it needs to be online but even with the AI matches being available it just feels like it's pointing you to get online and play others. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #4 vectorarchitekt, Jul 14, 2017 This definitely needs AI. Sometimes you have a bad connection or need to pause a match. But otherwise this is really good!!! I have plenty of wifi but if a game won't work without it then I simply won't play it. I don't understand why anyone would get invested in an internet connection only game that can and will be taken away from you at any given moment due to reasons completely out of your control. No thanks. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #7 vectorarchitekt, Jul 14, 2017 The more I play this, the more I must say it really does look great. Animations, art style, backgrounds, characters, music, etc are all top notch I think. KeKhan Well-Known Member May 28, 2012 1,381 43 48 #8 KeKhan, Jul 14, 2017 I prefer to play against real people and not a computer. That's why I would play an internet only game. Sure, the internet signal may vanish. Then I do something else, it's just a game. Silthoras New Member Jan 9, 2015 3 0 0 #9 Silthoras, Jul 14, 2017 It is an online PvP game and is advertised as auch and people complain about no offline ai mode. How weird. In another note, loving the game. The art is great, the gameplay smooth. It also holds mobile connection really well and works even with weak signalling. I am still at the start but hopefully it won't turn p2w as it continues. At the moment I recommend the game to anyone who likes pvp games and only has 5 min to play. Roleki Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2012 432 0 0 #10 Roleki, Jul 14, 2017 I too would be all over this if it had offline AI play. I still have Kard Combat on my device for that reason (but it is no doubt doomed by the upcoming iOS update...). I've been playing computer games pretty much since they came into being, because I like playing games against a computer. If I play PVP, the person becomes more important to me than the game. If I play AI, it's about me and the game. Son of Anarchy Well-Known Member Oct 5, 2015 717 130 43 Male Shadow Runner Australia #11 Son of Anarchy, Jul 14, 2017 That's cool dude, each to their own. I prefer to play my games when I want to, not when the game decides I can. TheSop Well-Known Member Sep 24, 2016 264 0 16 #12 TheSop, Jul 14, 2017 Can anyone provide more information on this game? How is the IAP, does it have cloud saving or an account to sign into? Mistrija Active Member Jan 31, 2014 35 0 6 #13 Mistrija, Jul 14, 2017 Absolutely! The game alone is beautifully done! If at least those PVE parts are available offline though... Mistrija Active Member Jan 31, 2014 35 0 6 #14 Mistrija, Jul 14, 2017 It does. I used Facebook sync. IAP's seems standard, hopefully won't hit pay wall, im leveling up through arena, so far so good. At least in my eyes. Mistrija Active Member Jan 31, 2014 35 0 6 #16 Mistrija, Jul 14, 2017 Well I wrote first post without unlocking PVE events segments of the game. So there is AI missions (sort off) and they might not be available to play non stop (has that time refreshing mode) but it that part at least is accessible offline...would be a 5+ stars game to me. Arena ranks, card packs (and it contains exactly 5 cards!), crafting & disenchanting system, daily quests.. Okay, this plays like mini Hearthstone with some F2P elements except energy system which is cool. And what makes it cooler is that, it is playable in portrait mode!!!!!!!!!! But, there is just no way to win if you go second - the tempo loss is too massive That aside, how do I finish instructor alfred's course. I have won countless games and the quest is still there Edit: Restarting the game solved the problem Bgamer21 Member Aug 1, 2013 7 0 1 #20 Bgamer21, Jul 14, 2017 Agree, longing for AI You're not the only one. There is a great need for PvE card battlers. Too bad, this one looks pretty good. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
