Sort of reminds me of dungeon or similar but with a 5 card tableau instead of a map for a dungeon level. Also has sort of a dungeon raid vibe in card form. Basically you are trying to balance your health with enemy damage, using cards that give armor, heal, increased damage, etc. there are seven characters, each with their own abilities to help. Not sure how much I like it yet, and it should be noted the translation is poor, but there is definitely a game here. Also, the app doesn't have an English title under the icon, for people bothered by that sort of thing. Repulsa Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2015 1,584 81 48 #3 Repulsa, Jul 13, 2017 What are the IAP ? Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #5 Misguided, Jul 13, 2017 Looks like there are some locations you can purchase. Each location has a set deck of things you will find/fight, like the castles in Card Thief. I see two for .99 but there could easily be more later. Maybe if someone posted a gameplay video in the future, then we can see how the gameplay runs. The Appstore preview showed how things looked but I'd love to see more of the mechanics. zeroex Well-Known Member May 20, 2014 344 25 28 #10 zeroex, Jul 13, 2017 I'm intrigued too.. also waiting for reviews. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #11 vectorarchitekt, Jul 13, 2017 Last edited: Jul 13, 2017 I'm not much of a reviewer, but besides some bad English translation: 1. the graphics are quite nice. It's a good-looking game 2. It's pretty much Donsol minus the ability to run or pass, and it's a row of 5 cards instead of 4 in a portrait view. 3. You get passive and active abilities based on the character and go to different areas and the cards are drawn, you grab a sword, then a shield and when they run out per monster hits, they break. When you grab another one of each, they replace the previous. So you make your way through 5 cards at a time until the end of the deck without losing all of your health. Each area has theee difficulty modes. This is probably a bad explanation, but it's definitely worth a dollar. You'd spend more on gas station coffee. I just thought of the other game this reminds me of: in terms of balancing shield vs health...sword & Dragón I think it was, a sliding threes style game. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #14 vectorarchitekt, Jul 13, 2017 Dungeon Tiles and Hero Slide? Cause I beat the second on all difficulties and didn't unlock a new level so... can anyone else confirm this? stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #18 stubbieoz, Jul 13, 2017 Last edited: Jul 13, 2017 Just to add some info about the iap's. There is a total of 7 playable characters, each with different starting skills. *First character is free. *Second character I got after playing a couple of levels. *Two more characters can be gotten with stars, which are awarded for successfully completing missions (though you can also lose stars if you fail missions). As far as I can tell stars are only available by playing the game, they are not iap's. *Two more are available for $1.99 each. *And one more is available for $4.99. There are a total of 18 seperate places, each having 10 missions. There are two places available for $0.99 that have shown up on the map after I have played in four places. However the two paid for places are numbered 16 and 17. I simply don't know yet if these two are the only ones that you have to buy as places you can enter only seem to show up if you are near them on the map. Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #19 Misguided, Jul 13, 2017 I do too. I just don't think it will help a whole lot here. stubbieoz Well-Known Member Jun 23, 2015 1,880 358 83 Male Grey haired gamer NSW Australia #20 stubbieoz, Jul 14, 2017 There is more strategy than chance involved. Each turn you get dealt five random cards. These cards have a combination of buffs for your character, enemies and sometimes traps, though occasionally you might get five enemies. Your character has two active skills and two passive skills. You need to work out the order to use your buffs and skills to survive each round. It might sound easy but you need to use your mathematical mind and think ahead a turn or two to keep the maximium health for your character. It is important not to lose a round as each loss takes some of your star points away, which are necessary to unlock two more characters. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
