I had no idea how to play this game from the description and trailer. Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #4 Misguided, Jul 13, 2017 Been waiting on this one. It's a mashup of sokoban with a step sequencer AppUnwrapper Well-Known Member Oct 26, 2011 4,062 3 0 http://www.appunwrapper.com/escape-games/ #5 AppUnwrapper, Jul 13, 2017 I just wish there was a way to shut off the effects, because they started to annoy me after a while. Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #6 Misguided, Jul 13, 2017 Understandable. I don't know that the developer would want to, since that's part of the "shtick" of the game, but maybe they could have an option to lower the intensity a bit. We're really excited that it's finally out there. We're planning our first major post-release update, and we're going to try to get a toggle in that reduces the effects for those who want that. It's basically Sokoban. Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #15 Misguided, Jul 13, 2017 Yeah, this game is to Sokoban what Lumines is to Tetris. It's an audio-visual experience, not a rhythm game. You can get 36 stars for finishing all the levels, and when you've completed all levels you'll get a 10 star bonus, so provided you don't spend big on themes you should only need 4 extra stars to unlock pack 2! Seon gave us a lot of great advice during development, especially on the business side of things. He's really great! Lumines never did this, despite having a similar step sequencer overlay. (FWIW, if the developer's reading, it's not the effects as a whole that did for me just the beat marker marching across the screen. It's so prominent.) THE NETHERLANDS #19 ROGER-NL, Jul 14, 2017 When you finish a level, you gotta listen to the beat of that level, it's great stuff, they didn't just make a level out of nowhere, every level has a unique sound to it, I just realised myself listening to it, very well thought out I would say, just love the combination of puzzle and music.
