Honikou Member Sep 13, 2013 17 0 0 #10 Honikou, Jul 6, 2017 We want to improve the game, if you have things/features or elements about the game that you don't like, we can discuss about that. First I will update the game to add : Remove the first ads after tutorial Remove unity ads because that isn't easy to cancel the ads (like admob the X box is easy to close) Add timing information for gold medal on each level Remove the gold coin on hammer level 1. The fun stat is that 80% of players dies in water on the level 1, more over, they dies an average of 6 times on that level. Severed Member Mar 18, 2017 17 0 0 #11 Severed, Jul 7, 2017 Hello Honikou! Love the game so far! It's funny that you mentioned those stats because when I went through level 1 I purposely died by water multiples times trying to get back to the seagull. I think if you maybe added some way to climb back up to get to him (unless I somehow missed a way back up), then that may fix some of the death issues there! Honikou Member Sep 13, 2013 17 0 0 #12 Honikou, Jul 7, 2017 Hello Severed, I have update the level one. Now that is possible to come back ! Severed Member Mar 18, 2017 17 0 0 #13 Severed, Jul 8, 2017 Awesome! Glad to see you are taking feedback and making adjustments so quickly! I'll stop by if I have any other feedback, I just have to find more time to play these days orangecan Well-Known Member Aug 9, 2011 2,000 150 63 #14 orangecan, Jul 9, 2017 I'd like to know this please as well. It's by no means perfect, the jumping looks and feels slightly off on occasion, theres some multiple currency via iap going on which I'm not sure what it's for yet and graphically it is quite basic, but it's got charm and I'm really enjoying playing so far - if you're a fan of 3D platformers you'd be doing yourself a favour by checking this out. Severed Member Mar 18, 2017 17 0 0 #15 Severed, Jul 11, 2017 Last edited: Jul 13, 2017 This game indeed does have its own charm. It does have many characteristics of other games but it can stand alone fairly easily. And I certainly don't know of many like this atleast on iOS. I'm on level 9 now which is a bit past the half way mark of the current levels in the game, and I'm having a pretty good time playing, I must say. The controls definitely are a little off the mark at times, and you especially notice when you're trying to beat your time to increase your medal for the level. Occasionally you have to make a tight maneuver to shed a second or two and you may end up falling right into the water or lava because you didn't quite go forward or to the side enough. The camera angle is also an issue at times because you can't tell how close you are to dangerous obstacles ahead of you since the camera is pretty fixed. If I had to make some crucial suggestions besides for the controls/camera I would also suggest trying to go through and polish off some of the walls if possible. Some areas when exploring for secrets, you could be blocked off by a pile of rocks and if you happen to jump over it, you'll go right through the "invisible wall" and usually fall to your death which can be frustrating. In games like these you usually like to be told "hey you shouldn't be able to go here so we are stopping you with this wall" lol. I also did find a bug on level 5 where I know for a fact that I found both secrets but for some reason the counter underneath that level in the level selection screen still says "1/2" instead of "2/2" like the rest of the levels. TL;DR: very fun and charming 3D platformer overall. It needs a good polish but I still find myself coming back to play one level at a time when I get the chance. It's simple and easy enough to jump right into it, and fun and unique enough to pull you in. Edit: also I believe in level 13 where one of the stars required is to obtain 49 coins, im so certain that there is actually only 48 coins. I mean I have honestly looked everywhere and cannot find the last coin so unfortunately I can't progress any further now to the last one or two levels because I'm missing that one star Super edit: never mind, both of my issues/bugs are fixed! Thanks devs Honikou Member Sep 13, 2013 17 0 0 #16 Honikou, Jul 17, 2017 Hello Severed, Thank you for your review. Yes we fix the bug level 5 and the bug level 13. "The controls definitely are a little off the mark at times, and you especially notice when you're trying to beat your time to increase your medal for the level." What do you mean exactly, the control are too big ? "The camera angle is also an issue at times because you can't tell how close you are to dangerous obstacles ahead of you since the camera is pretty fixed." What level did you encounter this issue (maybe level 7 at the end) ? The camera predicts your movements to move in your direction. But when you say fixed, that might be to slow maybe ? We are working on a big update, where you have infinite lives. We found that a lot of player have hard time on level 1 during the tutorial, do you think the game is too hard to handle ? Severed Member Mar 18, 2017 17 0 0 #17 Severed, Jul 20, 2017 Hi again! Firstly, as for the controls what I mean is that the issue I've been having is when you first start to move in any direction, it almost feels like your character takes a little bit to get going. I feel like you guys may have done that intentionally but for some reason it makes pretty difficult to dodge/avoid things. That's what I mean when it feels "off". The physical controls themselves are fine, it just feels like your character lags behind a bit. Second, the camera seems like it is always in a fixed position and what I meant by that is that no matter what direction you are moving (left, right, forward, or backward) it is always in the same spot. For example if I try to go backwards in a level, even though I know going backwards is not intended, your character moves very close to the bottom edge of your screen and you can't even see where you are going at all. In my opinion the camera should always be at the back of your character. So when you turn to the right, the camera is going to follow and always be facing the back of the player, so you can always see where you are going when you want to move forward. Sorry if I could not explain this part very well. I feel like you designed the levels in such a way where the camera kind of becomes part of the challenge because you cannot see very far ahead of your at some angles and if that is the case then that is fine. I'm just used to comparing it to other 3D platformers where the camera is always facing your characters back no matter where you turn. And lastly, no I do not feel like the game is too difficult at all. And I even applaud you for the replayability of each level by being able to go back to finish other challenges as well as beating your own time! Besides for the previous issues I pointed out, if players are not able to pass the tutorial then I'm not sure exactly what will help. Maybe a little more explanations? Just a guess. I remember I told you about making it possible to go back to the seagull and in my opinion that fix was a great and very helpful update. Other than that the levels are always pretty self explanatory and I think you guys did a great job! (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
