3D Spinner on the App Store Sorry in advance, I really am. But these fidget spinners are huge, and like it or not there is a high demand for spinner apps, and I figured I could make a much better simulation of this spinner phenomenon than the apps that were already out there. So I made 3D Spinner. Don't hate the player, hate the game It's pretty much just a pure fidget spinner simulation, with ultra realistic physics, graphics and sound effects. There are 14 spinners in total, two of which are free with the free app. A single low-price IAP unlocks 12 more spinners, and there are no ads at all. Although it's not a game as such, it can display the RPM and spin time, so fans could make their own games up e.g. who can get theirs to spin the fastest or for the longest. If there is enough demand I could gamify it and have leaderboards etc., e.g. longest spin, fastest spin, most spins etc, but thought that would detract from the point of these things - just to spin them up and down and be strangely mesmerised. I've always wanted to make a turn-based racing game too on the same pencil flick mechanic. You also have to be 'holding' it (touch the middle of the screen with it near-flat so that moving the phone no longer moves the camera) The reason is we get very little control of the vibration - it only vibrates at a fixed frequency and duration (~1/2 second). I really wanted to make it vibrate more slowly at lower rpm like a real spinner but wasn't possible unfortunately. It also drains the battery so thought it'd be better if it was only at high rpm where the buzz matches the spin rpm better. The spinner has to going quite fast (600rpm+) for it to vibrate, and the accelerometer needs to not be disabled. You also have to be 'holding' it (touch the middle of the screen with it near-flat so that moving the phone no longer moves the camera) The reason is we get very little control of the vibration - it only vibrates at a fixed frequency and duration (~1/2 second). I really wanted to make it vibrate more slowly at lower rpm like a real spinner but wasn't possible unfortunately. I have now removed the IAP from this app for good and so all spinners are now totally free (and no ads either as I won't make an app with ads). Thanks to those who paid for the IAP in the past - it is hugely appreciated!
