In Walking Tourist you politely (or not so politely) step through different settings with different crowds. You want to get through quickly, but shortcuts through the grass, blocking others, or outright shoving is frowned upon. Along the way are various things to pick up and spots to snap pictures of. I liked the concept from the start (I walk a lot myself), although it is significantly more complicated to capture well than one would expect. rIcHrAnDoM ya, I tend to limit violence in games a lot. It is a bit too cliche for my taste at this point. Will give this a shot this weekend... ajunkalagames Member Jun 18, 2017 14 0 1 Melbourne, Australia #6 ajunkalagames, Jun 23, 2017 Heh, Hoplite is not the game I was expecting it to be compared to. I do hope you enjoy it! loox Well-Known Member Feb 9, 2011 76 0 6 #7 loox, Jun 24, 2017 Okay, I couldn't resist! I'm really enjoying this. I can easily see myself playing the whole game (the highest possible compliment from me). It's got a frogger-type mechanic but on clever, living maps. It's extremely polished, fun, and challenging. Makes you think (or you can just be impolite so you never get stuck... it's harder being polite but you get scored on this so it matters). Awesome! I hope this one gets the traction it deserves. ajunkalagames Member Jun 18, 2017 14 0 1 Melbourne, Australia #8 ajunkalagames, Jun 24, 2017 Awesome, thank-you very much! Cool concept. loox's post got me really intrigued. Ijipop Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2012 557 268 63 #10 Ijipop, Jun 24, 2017 Hey guys. Maybe I'm just not getting it. I don't really know how the main menu works. The game crashed everytime I played. (After only a minute or two each time.) This is no Hoplite. The comparison is not good. For now it seems broken. Iphone 6s latest IOS. ajunkalagames Member Jun 18, 2017 14 0 1 Melbourne, Australia #11 ajunkalagames, Jun 24, 2017 No, no leader boards sorry. It is something I have considered but never actually implemented. I do have an update with a handful more levels so I can look into adding it in with that (it is a few weeks away though) ajunkalagames Member Jun 18, 2017 14 0 1 Melbourne, Australia #12 ajunkalagames, Jun 24, 2017 For the main menu, I have had one issue come up recently (somehow didn't come up in playtests) where the spinning lock over tiles not yet unlocked is difficult to see on some devices. It appears like the menu doesn't do anything at all. Does that sound like it is your issue? As for the crash, is it crashing at a consistent spot? If so where (and if at all possible, a screen shot in that spot or even better video of it happening would be super handy to let me narrow where it is happening). Thus far although a crash is listed, I didn't receive a crash log so I don't have anything to work with yet. I understand if you can't or don't wish to help. But if you do, you can also contact me on this page and hopefully I can figure why this is happening to you. Ijipop Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2012 557 268 63 #13 Ijipop, Jun 26, 2017 No problem, I'll try to send you at least a photo! Thanks! ajunkalagames Member Jun 18, 2017 14 0 1 Melbourne, Australia #14 ajunkalagames, Jun 26, 2017 Awesome thank-you! Just a quick update, I have just sent live an update that has crash fixes in it. Although I am not certain it is your issue, one of crashes fixed would manifest in way that fits your description, so you may also want to try updating to see if it helps. Ijipop Well-Known Member Jul 25, 2012 557 268 63 #15 Ijipop, Jun 27, 2017 It crashes everytime I finish a stage. When the score sheets appears nothing happens after. Nothing... TA app won't let me post a screen shot but, you know. The score sheet! ajunkalagames Member Jun 18, 2017 14 0 1 Melbourne, Australia #16 ajunkalagames, Jun 28, 2017 Ok, a few questions if you don't mind. Did you get the 1.0.2 update (would have come yesterday, sadly I don't expose this in the app currently)? Do you see all the results on the score screen? Did you tap on continue/map or replay and it did nothing? You could also try sending a screenshot on twitter, I have open direct messages (@ElDiauglo) or dev email address (my username here @gmail.com) if that helps. Really sorry this is happening and definitely want to get it fixed for you. ajunkalagames Member Jun 18, 2017 14 0 1 Melbourne, Australia #17 ajunkalagames, Jul 16, 2017 There has been a 1.1.1 launched in the past few days that has several crash fixes (it also has new levels and other improvements). Although I can't say with absolutely certainty I have fixed your issue, there was a crash I found when replaying levels. It happens at the score screen but It only affects some devices which is probably why I hadn't seen it (I actually saw it preparing a build for a new platform).
