I saw quite a few levels of the game. The puzzles are on the easy side (perhaps by design) and do not involve mechanics beyond the typical rolling block games. English is not my native so sorry for the crap I sometimes mumble. y2kmp3 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 1,784 3 38 #5 y2kmp3, Jun 22, 2017 Thanks, Roger. I agree with you that the minimalistic look is very well done. It is important that the aesthetics do not distract from the puzzles. paulkane Well-Known Member Sep 6, 2012 1,102 0 36 Library automaton Denver #6 paulkane, Jun 22, 2017 Thanks again for the code. I have an iPad 3 and Cubiques is running really slow on it. I made it to the first puzzle, but I can not get the cube to move. I don't think it's me, but maybe my dirt old device? I didn't see a tutorial, so maybe someone has more insight? I love the minimalist design... 19civciV Well-Known Member Apr 9, 2015 192 0 16 Level Designer, Social Media Marketing & Managemen Nantes, France http://www.twitter.com/Vicvic91 #7 19civciV, Jun 23, 2017 Congrats ! I just downloaded your game and I like it ! Few feedbacks : . When playing in silent mode, the vibration at each beggining and each end is really frustrative . Ingame the 2 menus buttons are not very clear, hard to understand wich one is the "back to menu" and wich one is the "restart" one + all the game is based on the cubic form... why using circles there ? . I've got a bug in lvl.14 : after completing lvl.13, the game get back to the main menu automatically and the splashscreen was loading 5 times with glitches before coming back to normal . When playing lvl.18 there is some lags when the level 2nd floor is appearing . The buttons from the main menu are very small in iPhone 7Plus, hard to click them without error + you should probably reuse the ingame colors for those ones (like a red button for "play" like the character's color, yellow button for "star" and blue button for "leaderboard" . I feel probably frustrated about the leaderboard as it's only a game completion one : could it be more relevant to get a competitive one with the "timetrial" total of each player . Talking about timetrial, I'm missing a timer ingame with my time to beat . Could also add more replayability if there was some missions to complete on each level : like "finish in X secs", "complete by touching the yellow cube only one time" or something . Talking about replayability, could be fun to see "how many retry" a player used to complete a level, and add the mission "complete with one try" to let them restart a difficult one and challenge them a bit more Hope it will help you #✌# 19civciV Well-Known Member Apr 9, 2015 192 0 16 Level Designer, Social Media Marketing & Managemen Nantes, France http://www.twitter.com/Vicvic91 #8 19civciV, Jun 23, 2017 Few more feedbacks : . Why are you not using the same "back" button in the Settings as in the rest of all the game ? . I just got a try with the french version and found few wrong translations : - SELECT A LEVEL is cropped to SELECTIONNER UN instead of SELECTIONNER UN NIVEAU (who is probably too long and could be replaced by CHOIX DU NIVEAU) - VIBRATE should be VIBRATION - ARRIÈRE is the wrong meaning of BACK button, should be better with RETOUR . By the way, focusing on the level listing menu, the pictures are really small and the TRIES / TIMER infos are invisible : you should probably tweak them to be more visible ## . X time played a level is an useless info for now, as players will not comeback to replay the levels. The number of restart should be really fun there, as you will want to complete each levels in 1 try for sure ## That's all for me, back to real life now # hartgamer Member Jun 23, 2017 5 0 0 #9 hartgamer, Jun 23, 2017 This is a very well done puzzle game. I love the aesthetics and the control. I focus in this two things because sometimes is hard to find a game with this attention to detail. The level design is really nice. I love how the mechanics adds one to another and the game grow and grow in every level. There's some misleading buttons as they have commented above, but in general is a really great game who will delight puzzle games fans. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
