It's sort of a puzzle-action hybrid on a minimalist turnbased grid. It's good fun, has new ideas every level, and looks and sounds stylish to boot. The 12 levels passed quite quickly for me, but being fairly experienced with this sort of game, and having only spent $1 on this, I was more than happy with the fun I got out of this one! How long did you take to complete the game? TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #4 TheGreatEscaper, May 31, 2017 I think around 2 hours? It can definitely take a lot longer than that depending on where your skills lie (there are some twitch, speed-centric levels, and some fairly expansive puzzlish levels too). It does also say that more content should be coming in updates. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #5 metalcasket, May 31, 2017 This is superb. jwn137 Member Jun 18, 2014 17 0 0 UI and Game Designer San Francisco, CA #6 jwn137, May 31, 2017 Thanks for the input guys! Depending on your experience with environmental "zelda-like" puzzles, the game can definitely take you a few hours. For completionists there are harder to find Gems in each level that may take some time to get. Hope you enjoy! This is exactly the type of game that i'm into. Love the abstract style! Roleki Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2012 432 0 0 #11 Roleki, Jun 2, 2017 Just how much "twitch/speed centric" stuff is there? I prefer puzzles I can take my time over. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,065 1,342 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #12 metalcasket, Jun 2, 2017 There are a couple of levels that are twitchy but otherwise you're free to take as much time as you need. AppUnwrapper Well-Known Member Oct 26, 2011 4,062 3 0 http://www.appunwrapper.com/escape-games/ #13 AppUnwrapper, Jun 2, 2017 There's four levels where you're racing against the clock. This is the first one and easiest of the four: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel I still haven't beaten the last one yet. The other 8 levels allow you to take your time, but there are obstacles you need to pass quickly/carefully. It's not turn-based. On the slower levels, there are a few extra lives to pick up if you do get hit. So if you're careful, it's fairly easy to avoid death on those 8 levels. jwn137 Member Jun 18, 2014 17 0 0 UI and Game Designer San Francisco, CA #14 jwn137, Jun 2, 2017 AppAdvice just gave Stolen Thunder a really great review! I'm glad you are enjoying the game and thanks for the review kbirch Active Member Oct 7, 2016 32 4 8 #17 kbirch, Jun 4, 2017 I am solely a puzzle game lover, not usually a fan of many other types of games, and it's hard to find a game I get addicted to. Just when I've given up trying to find a new favorite app to get obsessed with, along comes this one, and I LOVE it! It's something new and different, and I'm really enjoying it. I don't comment on many games on here, but I had to say, great job on this one! Qwertz555 Well-Known Member May 22, 2010 2,318 29 48 #18 Qwertz555, Jun 4, 2017 What a crappy premium ios week for me... To buy at least one paid game, i went with this one. Also, it doesn't seem to be one of those very pull-my-hair-brainy kind. Well, while it's a quite fun and recommendable puzzler already (one little buck), there is lots of room for improvements. The swipes get too easily mixed up with the taps to shoot. This could create some difficult moments in the timed levels when i simply wanted to move along but not to shoot. Maybe that's only me. (iphone 7, 10.3.2) The loading times are not up to date, it takes a while. Whenever i see a turning circle in the right down corner i think of GameSalad. Maybe that's the reason... It definitely deserves more levels. Pro's might finish the game easily under 90 minutes. Personally, i had about 2 1/2 hours to complete it (almost) in full. For me, absolutely worth $1. ass_man Member Apr 2, 2015 16 0 0 #19 ass_man, Jun 5, 2017 So many pretty colours jwn137 Member Jun 18, 2014 17 0 0 UI and Game Designer San Francisco, CA #20 jwn137, Jun 5, 2017 I'm glad you are enjoying the game so much!
