Unless that happens, sadly, we won't be able to swap out keyboards during the game play. You'll notice we use the native keyboard for everything else though! How easy would it be to play with someone of my choosing - aka, my boyfriend? And would we both have to play at the exact same moment, or can I make my answers and when it's his turn, he can make his - even if it takes awhile? jForsythe Well-Known Member Apr 9, 2013 166 0 0 #7 jForsythe, Jun 1, 2017 Not out in Australia. They'll automatically be added to your friends list once both people have connected to Facebook. It's a synchronous game, so you both would have to play at the same time to play together. Last time I launched a Feud game in Australia with American content... I had Australians messaging me on FB with scary... scary messages. (True story) geoelectric Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2010 464 22 18 San Jose, CA #10 geoelectric, Jun 2, 2017 I struggled pretty hard with it on an iPhone 7+. Lots of typos, to the point I enjoyed my matches quite a bit less. I think it's either an autocorrect (does it?) or a tap target issue. Also not sure if you're doing the thing where ambiguous taps (two keys hit by fat thumbs) use probabilistic models to guess which key you meant. That's honestly the #1 complaint. Otherwise it's pretty good at matching, and did a good job of recognizing synonyms, etc, but that keyboard is a fatal flaw under time pressure. Blackharon Well-Known Member Mar 15, 2010 978 0 16 Game Designer for Ludia Canada http://www.clermonta.wix.com/gamedesign #11 Blackharon, Jun 3, 2017 Sweet - I'm glad you're almost enjoying it I'll pass the keyboard feedback along... we'll add some polish to it each update for certain. In the meantime I suggest using the suggestions. All it takes is 2-3 correctly typed keys before our suggestion dictionary will probably pick up what you're looking to type in (and if it's more than 5 keys in, you're probably heading for a strike!) geoelectric Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2010 464 22 18 San Jose, CA #12 geoelectric, Jun 3, 2017 I think part of it is that if you type normally you're not looking key by key at the suggestion dictionary. If I recall correctly as soon as I typed one wrong letter the dictionary stopped showing anything. So yeah, I figured that out, but that means laboriously L-U-P...nope, never lupus... del del del... You can see where I'm now thinking about the keyboard instead of the game. Plus it was more like L-I-crap-del-U-P... I'm pretty sure the tap targeting was off compared to system keyboards. Honestly, if there's any possible way to show suggestions in your own view when the native keyboard pops and update on key events, that's your best bet. I worked on Firefox OS and I'll tell you straight out the keyboard was one of the hardest things to get right. The difference between feeling good and being clunky was really subtle. But I guess if you can't my suggestion would be to make the suggestion engine fuzzier, sort of like autocorrect and autocomplete combined. You can pretty much take for granted that nobody can actually type accurately on a mobile keyboard and that software assistance is the only reason it works. It is a really nice execution otherwise though, and mad props on that. I do love mobile game shows. It's amazing how inadequate taking a landscape keyboard engine that no one complained about and flipping it to portrait (with some rejiggering) became a problem! We have further polish coming in the next update geoelectric Well-Known Member Apr 22, 2010 464 22 18 San Jose, CA #14 geoelectric, Jun 8, 2017 That's great news! As much as I struggle with the typing, I keep coming back so you've plainly done a lot right!
