As-is, it's fun in short spurts but yeah, support for this game will be hard without an effort to get rid of the timer. If you go into it wanting to play for hours at a time, you'll get frustrated by the energy system. Likewise, the stages have a definite "Jetpack Joyride" feel to them. No matter how much you upgrade your vehicle, you're only really expected to reach a certain point and then wipe out. Of course, the ultimate expectation is for you to spend Diamonds for each new vehicle upgrade when it's unlocked, which will let you beat the next boss, to reach the next stage, to need the next vehicle. Wash, rinse, repeat until the 'paywall' eventually kicks in at the higher levels. (The fifth of twenty cars already requires over 100 Diamonds just to unlock it, and you have to pay diamonds for all the others along the way. And then upgrade your vehicle all over again - it's actually not even worth buying upgrades for the first three cars, you won't use them for long enough.) I'm rather enjoying it, but again, I understand it has to be played in limited doses, slowly but surely rising through the ranks. I also know I'll never get close to "winning" before I'll reach the aforementioned paywall, but I'll enjoy the free ride up to that point. VERY different game from the minds behind App Store classics Samurai Siege and Rival Kingdoms. Kind of a collectible bullet-hell type game with competitive multiplayer and tons of action and fun. Quite engaging
I disagree.. Controls are spot on, and adjustable and zoom is just fine.. Plays like a SHRUMP... iPhone 7+ - Its a great game.
I had to leave a horrible review. The pay model is so bad that there's just no way for me to fully enjoy the game or even spend money in the game. I'd spend money in the game to enjoy it but you can't even do that. It's just not done well at all. Billy
