I like using the alien Lucy who punches instead of using a gun. Sometimes Lucy will slug an enemy and I'll see the death explosion but the enemy sticks around. They can't be slugged after that, nothing registers when I stand next to them to attempt it again. But they can still shoot you. With the mfi controller you are able to use the shoot and punch function when you want them, it's not automatic like with the touch controls.
