It feels so clunky and unresponsive in game and even in the menus. I made it to chapter 2 and already feel impossibly underpowered without spending money. The gameplay is just awful, though. There's no getting over that. I loved Injustice 1 and Mortal Kombat. Both of those games were a nice change from the Contest Of Champions formula. But this is a major downgrade in every possible way. I'll mess around with it some more tonight but I fear it will be uninstalled by morning. Contest of Champions is far from perfect in many respects, but the graphics, animations and gameplay are exceptionally good, and have been relatively consistent for 3 years now. I can't see this game even denting the mobile fight game market. Coming off of Transformers and playing the original I know how to tap tap tap. Then, they start their combo and it lags out. Twice during Scarecrow (vs. my Swamp Thing) the game crashed entirely. No way to return to that fight. Dailies require updating gear but no information on how to level the said gear up.
