It reminds me of a very kid friendly version of The Room with a little Shadowmatic thrown it, but it's just its own thing. It's pleasant to look at and pretty cool, not sure how long it will hold my interest but I'm enjoying it so far. It's not what I was expecting but I don't really know what I was expecting. Loving this game. I recommend to everyone. You don't just turn to find the image . It has way more content then that. There is no actual logic I can find in Vignettes, and no clear goal without the item map. I really want to like it but I don't feel like I'm playing a game. Just rotating stuff until other stuff happens. It's interesting and has a cool art style but doesn't really strike me as a must have game yet. It seems like a cool time waster but those are everywhere. I have been playing it with the sound off so I may be missing part of the experience. If my opinion of it changes drastically, I will return with new impressions. Edit: The sounds adds quite a bit of style/atmosphere to the experience. Perceiving it as a game/toy hybrid helps. Gib New Member Apr 23, 2017 1 0 0 #16 Gib, Apr 23, 2017 Hey everyone, thank you for playing our game Vignettes! We wanted to make something really unique, at the boundary between a game and a toy, so that's definitely ok if it's not up your alley, but so far the reviews/rating have been amazing worldwide! It's pretty fun seeing everyone trying to decipher all the secrets. Not many poeple found the ultimate one yet :> As more content is on the way, let us know what you would have loved seeing in the game, or what kind of objects/mood we should try to play with. Anything goes! Perhaps a graveyard setting with a gravestone to play with, a skull, an urn...things of that sort that don't necessary scream "Halloween update" but yet aren't geared toward children. As for the whole "toy" thing? Sure, it's fun to mess around and spin things, but there's still progression in terms of unlocking secrets, with certain sequences and prerequisites that need to be met. It's even more so a puzzle game than Shadowmatic in that regard and is absolutely outstanding (and subjectively better than it). I enjoyed every single second of the game, found all the secrets and yes...even did what I could with that thing with buttons that you hold to the side of your face. andsoitgoes Well-Known Member Jun 30, 2010 2,673 58 48 In a van, down by the river! #18 andsoitgoes, Apr 25, 2017 Last edited: Apr 25, 2017 Hey all, can anyone help me figure out how to get back to the third area? Just after lining up the gems on the cup I line up the round red lip of the cup and can just hear a split second of what sounds like a horn maybe? before the whole app crashes and boots me back to my iPhone home screen. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? It happens every time at this specific point in the game. I hope it get gets fixed soon! Edit: the game seems to work fine on my iPad but it's very unstable on iPhone 6 Plus. I tried reinstalling and it no longer crashes at the same point but now crashes at a later point.
