The paywall comes pretty early but can be alleviated through a relatively generous ad-watching system. The paywall itself comes in the same form as Trials wherein it becomes impossible to navigate later levels without upgrading your vehicle(hills too steep to climb for example). All said, this is the most fun I've had with this type of game in forever. There are Sonic the Hedgehog influences in the track designs with all of the various loops you go through, and it goes a long way vs games like these that are almost exclusively hills. They utilize pretty much every aspect of being on a waterslide that they could including things like riding underwater or through "tornado" tubes. It's the most visually stimulating and fun take on this genre that I've experienced. Because it draws heavy inspiration from Sonic the Hedgehog, it evokes the same feeling of riding through a rollercoaster. I definitely would have liked a premium version of this.
