It will surely run out on pay2win. So I'm still thinking about whether I should try the game. The big problem is that while you have four loot slots, you can only unlock one at a time. However, the game is still fun (so far) to me, and I encourage you to check it out. It is free, after all, and you can quit if its not to your taste. Patthegymnast Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2016 338 9 18 #4 Patthegymnast, Apr 21, 2017 Last edited: Apr 22, 2017 Nevermind! Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #8 Misguided, Apr 22, 2017 You'd have to be way off target to upgrade or sell by accident on a tablet. You playing on phone? Gotters Well-Known Member Oct 27, 2016 114 31 28 #9 Gotters, Apr 22, 2017 I'm enjoying this too - quite clever structure how its player v player but you don't need to be matched up in realtime (like in Clash Royale) Some of the UI is a bit rough round the edges, could do with slots to store vehicles that were successful, I have accidentally swapped a body or parts and then have to remember what I had. Good fun though and nothing every stops you having some battles, but moaners will whine as usual about chest unlock times. Osterus Well-Known Member Feb 12, 2011 442 0 0 #10 Osterus, Apr 22, 2017 Can't save body parts... Holes don't fit all things... Often body parts do not have enough power.... Body parts often have holes where there should not be holes, Lots of holes where it is ill advised to have holes and adding equipment does nothing... I really wish there was a way to save a build, I tend to experiment with different builds after opening a few boxes. I bought some gems to support the developers. Very clever game! DTK Well-Known Member Aug 22, 2014 343 12 18 Marketing Berlin Germany #13 DTK, Apr 22, 2017 Really loveless graphics! Pay 2 Win System! Paywall! Cheaters hacked the World Highscore (just one example, a Player in Level 1, only 5 poonly won, and in the World Ranking Highscore in position 148. But you need more than 34000 points to be listed on last place 500.) I am now level 7 at the Event, in the Stone League, and only win every 5th battle. nodoctors Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2009 1,212 28 48 #14 nodoctors, Apr 22, 2017 Yeah, unlike King of Thieves which stayed on my phone for months, this one might not last even a week. It's still fun, I recommend people check it out. Do know that it's a free to play pay to win scenario as usual, and just try to work with what you can, because it's an interesting concept nonetheless. I'm always a fan of these "design thing and see if other people can best it" games no matter the form it takes. And anybody that has ever enjoyed something like Battlebots will really get a kick out of it. The pay to win is ludicrously strong in this one, however. Weapon damage is so spread apart that it sends the mind reeling when you get one shot by a rocket on day one of playing. Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #15 Misguided, Apr 22, 2017 Agreed. @nodoctors the thing is, p2w players are liable to zoom right past wherever you are, so it isn't that big of a deal if you don't stress over how fast you progress. nodoctors Well-Known Member Jul 24, 2009 1,212 28 48 #16 nodoctors, Apr 22, 2017 Conceptually that sounds beautiful, and is absolutely logical. Unfortunately that's not the reality in pay to win systems. Similar to games like Clash Royale, they are designed in a manner where you never stop running into overlevelled players until you reach the max of the ladder where everybody is topped out. The pay to win mechanics wouldn't work if they only had evenly leveled matchups. Due to the inherently super random nature of this game, the power swings are all over the place and feel very unnatural. It's still fun, but don't expect to keep playing and not consistently run into overlevelled cars and weapons. It's the way of the freemium beast. I'm with you on not stressing over any of it, as I mentioned in my previous post. Just do what you can with it and try to have fun. Run into a guy that has a chainsaw that massages your vehicle one round and then the next guy has a chainsaw that liquifies you in less than a second. The reason why the concept of pay 2 winners speeding to the end, and thusly you shouldn't face them as much does not work is because it isn't binary where all of the p2w players got together and spent all their money and shot to the top at the same time. People at all random moments at random leagues and levels of the ladder will put money in to get a temporary power boost until they hit the next ladder paywall(traditional pvp monetization loop). The weaker players matched up against them in the league will then get creamed. This happens at all levels of play, again, until you're all maxed out together at the end and you've spent an ungodly amount of time and money just to have that opportunity for a balanced experience. Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #19 Misguided, Apr 22, 2017 Well, I'm currently in stage 8. 6 of my previous 7 advances were instant, though some took getting a part in a box. And I think that's what you are seeing: random luck from boxes. Getting the right part at the right time can make a huge difference. The high luck factor is a legit complaint. Still, I have found it fun trying to make the most of whatever the game hands you. FiloMJ Well-Known Member May 16, 2015 1,407 22 38 Male #20 FiloMJ, Apr 23, 2017 Forced ads?
