Is this more of an "action" game or crew/base building strategy kind of game. If this is a pure action game, I'm all in. yogg sarons cousin Member Feb 9, 2017 9 0 0 #11 yogg sarons cousin, Apr 18, 2017 I kind of abandoned pirate games after a very bad experience with one of the p.o. The carebians games , chasing ships for hours . This one seems interesting but the sea chases and battles is what worries me. razorracer83 Well-Known Member Apr 14, 2013 199 0 0 New York City, New York, USA #12 razorracer83, Apr 18, 2017 Last edited: Apr 18, 2017 I haven't played it yet, but based on impressions, it should play more like Sid Meier's Pirates! than Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, which, if you have an iPad, is pretty much a must-have if you are into pirate games. Personally, I'm getting this game since there is a lack of pirate games on both console and mobile. Nope. 64-bit devices only (iPad Air and Air 2, iPad Pro line, iPad Mini 2 and higher, iPhone 5S and higher, iPod Touch 6th Gen, iPad 5th Gen). I know how you must feel, though. I hurriedly changed my iPad 4 for an iPad Air 2 as I feared that this was going to be a quickly rising trend. Sadly, I was right. Is there a way to pull the camera out? Does this control well? I was a huge fan of the Naval parts of AC: Black Flag, easily the best part of that game. How does this differ gameplay-wise? Also, I didn't see any hand-to-hand combat or ship boarding. Pirates! had the fencing minigame. 0026879 Cancelled Mar 26, 2016 33 0 0 #15 0026879, Apr 18, 2017 To everyone, you gotta buy this game. I've Played it till beta with my best friend and girlfriend and all I gotta say is this game is probably one of the best games ever made for iOS and Android platform, tbh this game beats Gameloft best titles in my oponion. Prepare for full premium feeling. If you play with friends is even more enjoyable! DISCLAIMER FOR NEW PLAYERS: Game can be pretty hard at the beginning, so I suggest doing quest SEA WARRIOR, 10k for a quest is kinda great,..but you will lost your sympathy in kingdom fraction. Anyway, my love <3 - waiting for promo code tho devs ! ...I'm thinking of making a yoube videos for this game, ...but I am so busy so meh 0026879 Cancelled Mar 26, 2016 33 0 0 #16 0026879, Apr 18, 2017 Yes, you can zoom/unzoom your ship with using two hands (normal gesture for any other games in nowadays) Controls are easy to get into, personally I got into controlling the ship in like 3 minutes (the game by itself is harder to understand, quests and so on). Ship boarding: your opponent needs to have destroyed their sails which you can do with BAR SHOOTS, also I suggest using SHARPNEL before boarding the enemy ship. - after you destroy enemy ship sails use sharpnels to damage their crew. After that get into the orange/red circle, then click on everyone enemy man on the board so your crew will auto-attack ONLY targetted enemy. I recommend watching how does boarding works on PC version of this game, I think something like that will come into this version as well. Hope I helped ! That seems pretty mediocre. Are there improvements to this port? Is it actually good or just "good for mobile." I find reviews and impressions for a lot of mobile games tend to be skewed and judge a game's quality on a curve relative to other mobile games rather than games in general.
