Could have been a decent Dynasty Warriors ios game but noo, it should have energy(dumpling symbol), leaderboards, daily login, iap coins... Fortunately, there is also a campaign mode. Game mechanics themselves reminds me older PS2 era Dynasty Warriors but with an extremely small battlefield compared to them. Graphics are average I guess. It is indeed Dynasty Warriors for ios but for the "Unleashed" part... It feels leashed and limited. As with much of the recent ios titles. Warriv Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Feb 21, 2015 244 11 18 Portugal #13 Warriv, Mar 30, 2017 Well, I gave this a go, because it is dinasty warriors, after all, and single-handedly destroying whole armies is always fun. But yeah, I'm not sure what I was expecting, since it's just like any other freemium RPG out there. Choose hero, play stage, upgrade X, buy Y, push buttons and do good-looking stuff. Visually, graphics are reminiscent of PS2 era, at least on my Mini2. I'm perfectly fine with them, but newer gamers might not enjoy the pixelization. No frame drops at all, though. Moves and specials are also really good looking. All in all, these games always feel empty to me, but if you enjoy these kinds of mechanics, I think you'll enjoy this one. If you want a deeper experience, with combos, big stages and what-not, yeah, this is not it. EightRooks Well-Known Member Jan 13, 2012 627 0 0 UK #17 EightRooks, Mar 30, 2017 It's not bad as far as a F2P, bite-size Dynasty Warriors goes - you can at least get a few hours' mindless hack'n'slash out of it before the paywall kicks in (pretty sure it's there, what with multiple gachas, different currencies, energy systems etc.). Yeah, it's not full-fat, but it's entertaining - or at least it would be if not for the horrendous connection problems. No, it's not my internet. Near unplayable at the moment, just repeatedly losing the server and crashing without warning, over and over again. Shame, I was quite enjoying it until that happened. NotCoolBro Active Member Mar 20, 2013 42 0 6 #18 NotCoolBro, Mar 30, 2017 It's alright. A fun little Marvel Future Fight style game but not as good as MFF and even more repetitive. Overall you know what to expect from the entire game after playing through the first few stages. It really boils down to if you're a big enough fan of the DW series to grind through the MFF style mechanics all over again. Great graphics though! Amenbrother Well-Known Member Jun 24, 2011 6,659 7 38 #19 Amenbrother, Mar 30, 2017 Looks like I have to start over wow. I swear I used my FB to link but guess not... KeKhan Well-Known Member May 28, 2012 1,381 43 48 #20 KeKhan, Mar 30, 2017 How is this like MFF?? I fail to see the connection. Besides being an action game, but that's pretty generic. If you only played the first few stages of this then you haven't seen the bulk of the game. There's a lot of different modes, including live PvP. If it's not for you it's not for you, but imo this is a solid good looking action rpg with a lot of content and game modes. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
